Sad news. Been there since we moved behind the hedge in 2002 to avoid the early morning sunshine on the tent, the year New Bands/JP Tent moved too.

It was mostly the same people there every year and they were all lovely.

I'm sure wherever we end up now will be almost as good... :(

We were just the other side of the hedge for a couple of years. Loved it. Near the fence to the crew canping bit.

We've definitely met then. I was the snorer (sorry) :)

Oooh! Here's a discussion we've not had on this board; which group are the bigger c**ts? Flags at stages, nos canister droppers, people who shout at snorers to shut up in the campsites? I'm going the latter, the other two are just inconsiderate, shouting at snorers is outright malicious.

Gutted about Woodsies, really was a great camping spot. Not sure whether to try for Lower Mead this year or maybe the bit of Pylon close to the path for Silver Hayes. Think I'll be getting there earlier than usual this year

The one you're looking there at is the Mandela bar - the green and yellow tent which is on your right if youre looking at the pyramid stage.

Yes, yes, I realise that now. I was very drunk last night and my 2D sense of direction had vacated :)

I think this might make Pylon a much more popular choice than in previous years

Same dilemma for me. We camped the last two years in lower Mead and really liked the location.  But this year we aren't planning to get there till mid morning.  Too many years getting there at 6 and joining the wrong queue!

still suprised they dont move the beat hotel to silver hayes, seems such a good fit for that area in terms of music and atmosphere.

Please no! The Beat Hotel is a great little venue in a wasteland of random shops and toilets en route to JP.  Obviously the route has now changed a bit now, but it's an oasis in the middle of not-very-much.

Then again, it might make Silver Hayes more of a destination. Hmm, you might be onto something.

Not sure the map is geographically correct enough to make such judgement.

Yes I like it where it is one of my favourite things about it is that if if you're not in the mood for getting right in the thick of things you can be just outside with plenty of room to to dance, it's easy to get out to the toilets, but you can still hear the music as there are satellite speakers in front of the venue. If it moved to SH the sound blead  from the other stages would kill this.

Does the change in colour from pink/red to white mean that there will be no path from the park to green futures anymore?

Form looking at the map I'm assuming white means a publicly accessible route that isn't a tracked path.

Decent changes, feared they might change spring ground/into Hitchin Hill abit and lose my camping spot of the last few years with the John Peel changes.

I'm sure the John Peel area will be at least as good as it was before, if not better. From Emily's interview it sounded like they was putting effort into the Woods/Nature reserve so I'd imagine that theming continuing into the John Peel field? Maybe even having the bar in the woods, something like The Spike?

people shout at snorers in the campsites!? I have never heard anyone do that! If someone did that to me I'd be *fuming*

I only snore when i am drunk so if someone shouted at me for snoring i'd make it more of a point to get more twatted the next day so that i was louder the next night. You are camping around lots of people- chances are some of them will snore especially when pissed!

From the gif, it's the other way round, the out of bounds around the Park stage has grown from last year?

What's with Paines and Dairy changing names? They wouldn't do that would they? I can't see any reason for it.

Well spotted, I was clearly too guinness soaked and dancing-beer icon hypnotised when I posted it.

Anyone who expects a decent nights sleep at a festival and doesn't bring earplugs deserves what they get to be honest.

Who exactly is the hospitality camping for?

Self-important dickheads.

Mostly industry people (record lables, artist reps), journalists, B-list celebs, film makers, photographers. They aren't generally free. I think they are near to £400.
