Best I ate was either the cauli wings from Mexican Seoul or the chicken kati roll with masala chips and mango aioli from a stall near the bandstand. Can't remember the name but began with a K. Special shout out to the mexican ice lollies, went twice and was devastated when they sold out before the weekend was over. Worst was a halloumi pitta from the Greek souvlaki stall between the pyramid and san remo. So dry and bland. Also - did anywhere actually do a £6 meal deal? I kept seeing it on places that either had meals starting at £9 or the meal deal was just chips.

Watched it back on iPlayer last night and they sounded incredible. Regretting seeing Elton now, even though I enjoyed his set I would have had a lot more fun at QOTSA. Bought tickets for the November tour to help deal with the regret.

Completely agree with this, I hadn’t been since 2017 and noticed a huge shift in the crowd diversity which I thought was amazing. also agree with everyone who said the cleaner toilets - I was amazed. Other delights: Ice lollies from paletas, frozen cocktails everywhere, the improved silver hayes area, having more time this year to stumble across bands in bars, the string quartet wandering around the circus fields

Yeah I think so. I was nearer to the front at the start and enjoyed myself but needed the loo near the end. Rejoined the crowd further back and the atmosphere was dead. I didn’t hate it, I didn’t love it. I’ve seen them better in the past. I can understand them wanting to play songs differently but the slowing down of songs, 505 in particular was frustrating. It sucks the life out of the song (and the crowd).

Viagra Boys, Foos and CMAT. But also loved Elton, Lizzo and Scalping.
