I hope it's not like today as its almost too hot and getting any sort of sleep is out the window as the tent would be about 400 degrees at 7am.

Thankfully I'm in a position where I can put up my tent in the shadow of my friends caravan.

The days of baking in the morning sun have long gone!

Latest Met office outlook is fairly positive

Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Saturday 11 Jun 2016 to Monday 20 Jun 2016:

Generally unsettled, and somewhat cooler weather is expected to start this period, with organised bands of rain drifting across the UK. There will also be some sunshine and drier weather for most areas in between the rain bands, although afternoon showers will also be possible. Winds will remain quite variable but will become breezier than of late with a low likelihood of gales at the country's fringes. It will then remain rather unsettled through the middle part of June, though there will still be drier, sunnier periods for most, between bands of cloud and rain. The southeast may begin to become more settled towards the end of the period. Temperatures fresher than of late; so perhaps still warm in sunny spells, but rather cool in the most unsettled periods.

UK Outlook for Tuesday 21 Jun 2016 to Tuesday 5 Jul 2016:

Into late June and early July, the most unsettled weather should increasingly become confined to northwestern areas. Generally drier, warmer and sunnier conditions should continue to develop further south and east, although still with a risk of some rain or showers at times. Temperatures generally near normal at first, but perhaps cool in most unsettled spells. Warmer conditions may then develop later in the period, perhaps becoming very warm at times in the south.

Presume this thread has dropped to page 3 because all forecasts are now showing rain every day with loads of thunderstorms from today up to and including the Saturday of the festival?

How excited are you for that sun on the Sunday though

J10 will do a blog tomorrow and that will be his last for this year. Very sad loss to the weather thread. Hope he's back next year.

Shame. He's very much been part of the build up to the festival for a number of years now.

The Nal got to him

Interpol got to him. He is being extradited to Wisconsin after they realised that Ed Gein is actually innocent and the person who made lampshades and bins from human skin and cereal bowls out of human skulls was actually Jackone.

He has just enough time to squeeze in another "it might be rainy but I don't know" forecast tomorrow.

No Jackone means people relying on accuweather etc. which is fill your boots time for 'we're doomed' posts.

This is what J10 says over on the netweather forums:

"Unfortunately things are a bit different this year, I will publish a blog on Wednesday and that will be my last Glastonbury blog for this year.

I am unable to give the time to the blog after Wednesday, however the good news is there will be an official Net Weather forecast on a regular basis thereafter.

I do feel bad if I am letting anyone down, but next year fingers crossed, I should be able to do the blog as normal.

However I will still be popping in here from time to time, to follow the latest patterns."

i'll miss him for sure. love following his updates obsessively in the run up to the festival.
