I think it will be ok, main worry is it raining there but no harm with a bit of md as long as the weather holds off when everyone is there.

I find everyone having a bit of md does help. Especially of the ma variety

The pegs for my tent were coming out of the ground in my garden during the test run. And that was a couple of weeks ago when the weather was nice. No idea how they're gonna stay in the ground with how it's looking at the moment

Push the pegs in at an angle to the tent. The strain of ropes and the tent will naturally try to pull them out so push them in at an angle towards the tent so you create a right angle.

times I've seen it wet like that a dry day or two has sorted it out as it drains away. Sun obviously helps.

We need a couple of no rain days. Less chance of the environmentalist guys looking to halt it when it's wet (due to idiots pissing everywhere) with to it being more diluted? No that doesn't make it ok!

Will try my best, thanks. Taking lots of spare pegs too so just in case

That sunset over the site on the webcam at the moment is giving me a little bit of hope. Can't wait to see that sunset again next week!

Yes that's a really beautiful view tonight, just like it's saying 'don't worry guys, trust me, all jus' gonna be OK'

I didnt sleep a wink on the Sunday night and had to get the 8am coach back. Taking a quilt this time

Yep, coach back to Liverpool at 8am, worse morning of my entire life. Taking a pillow last year was the best idea I ever had

I'm still very optimistic. It is Friday. This is the first year I am getting there on a Thurs, usually I turn up on a Friday (I am a teacher). So many years I have had mates telling me the whole site is fucked due to rain on Wed/Thurs but its dried up when I get there on Friday or at least the following morning Sat. We have 4 whole days. The weather forecast looks good.

Also we have been sent a couple of videos of the worst places just after a massive downpour, this is not going to stay like this. Cheers

Got coach back at about 1pm to liverpool and got stuck in mad traffic then an 8 hour ferry to Belfast at 10pm. Pretty much locked myself in a cubicle with the fear for the duration of the cruise home. Bringing the car this time!!

    • Interview on 6 music earlier, was going to get the album to have a listen, but comes out the day they play the festival
    • Additional dates added already
    • I feel like it's not COMPLETELY beyond the realm of possibility that they could headline but I just don't see it.    They're not doing anything other than headlining. So nah, I don't see it.
    • Consider that the sound quality can be better near the front bars right behind the soundbooth rather than closer to the stage, like with mbv. And of course, the front sections are full of talkers too.   The most courteous move would be to have conversations in the very back of the field.
    • I mean...I do think it all needs more regulation, but god knows how when it's all so global...but there's so much stuff on there that is messing with our little minds. But also, he has given these companies till September, and well...he'll surely be gone by then. I think social media ban for under 16s will likely happen, but I think regulating it for everyone is better. It's the not the kids we should be worried about, it's all those middle aged doom scrolling keyboard warriors like me.
