The vinyl? No, but I've got the 24 bit wav files. I'll bet good money there's less clipping on this album. You don't need a waveform analyser to tell, you can hear it.

Hahahaha I make sure I delete my internet history every time I take my laptop into my flat kitchen for us to watch football on, and eFests is the reason for that.

Weirdly, as I read the last couple of pages my other half asked what I was doing. I said eFests. He rolled his eyes and then said "Radiohead again?"

After the initial excitement has worn off and after seeing that the back of his paper had the other three acts he mentioned and not Radiohead then I'm sliding towards the Oxford-link theory.

Alternatively he saw that the acts he was mentioning were being met with a dead reception and in a quick panic threw out something big to stop them being bored/baffled and then immediately realised what he'd done and shit himself. Said dead reception may also be why he mumbled Skepta under his breath as quickly as possible at the end.

Regardless of the possible Radiohead slip up, that video has confirmed my choice of festival attire for this year - short shorts and a blazer, classic sommerset style.

In that ME video it does kind of seem like he let it slip about Radiohead then realised what he did and tried to keep his cool and casually brush it off.

Another thing - if Eavis really is of the mindset that they 'need another crack at it' then surely they'd have went for them this year as opposed to repeating Muse and Coldplay? Surely they'd have been a better fit / option? Could mean they're lined up for next year though. Radiohead having no UK festivals still seems really off to me condsidering they're doing them everywhere else.

I assume they became available after they were both booked. They wouldn't have booked Muse over them.

Apparently, Scottie walked up to Emily at the Emerging Talent Competition and Emily said something to him about "no one has guessed the special guests", and Scott immediately pointed at his (deliberately worn) Radiohead t-shirt ... and Emily abruptly turned away.

There could be all sorts of reasons for why she turned away (there's always people trying to grab her attention, and Scottie was also a bit pissed I think ... so it might not have been what he thought it was.

I know Emily looks here now and then from things she's said to me at points, tho other things she's said to the press over the years have suggested she doesn't follow what's being said here very much - so it could easily be that she didn't know we were on to it. But, as I said, it's also possible it wasn't how Scott thought it was.

thanks .... definitely seems a bit of an odd thing to include, seems like there might be something to it.

I can't see why Radiohead would be in his head when talking about this year's line-up unless they're part of this year's line-up.
