If it happens, I don't give a shit where I am before or after.  Radiohead on the Pyramid.  Bliss.

Good gravy. I mean, gee whizz by jove. The mere thought that this is plausible is making me queezy.

You could even do Foals > EITS > Sigur Ros if you were quick/tactical/invented teleporting

IF (and it's a big IF) Radiohead do sub, this has got to be maybe the strongest set of Pyramid acts ever. Securing Muse, Adele, Coldplay and Radiohead is phenomenal even if all them acts aren't to your taste.

Radiohead into Adele would be a quite unbelievable coup. Possibly a little bit too unbelievable for my liking. YET Radiohead still haven't been announced for any UK festivals which is a tad perplexing when they're playing them all over the shop.

I don't know whether to get excited or not. Partly because Dental is right (they probably won't headline next year) and partly because we've been back and forth too many times, I can't handle further heartbreak .

Obviously it'll be f*cking awesome if it happens though!!

I just told my boss about getting a ticket yesterday and his words were 'you fucking c**t' lol - I didn't even know he liked Radiohead! Oh well..... gigs with your boss are a bad idea anyway.

The sun is beginning its decent. Its 8pm and crowds gather around the Pyramid to see who is filling this mysterious gap in the scheduling of the Pyramid stage.

Radiohead walk onstage. The curtain behind them falls to unveil a full orchestra.

The opening bars of Burn The Witch begins to fill the pyramid field as Jonny conducts.

Would be a strange crowd, for sure. I can imagine it'd be an exaggerated version of the clusterfuck that was Nick Cave into Mumfords

Exaggerated? Radiohead are a massive, headline-sized band with several hits that the masses will know. Nick Cave is a terrifying bloke none of the Mumford crowd have ever heard of who ran around the stage/crowd shouting about fucking people in their "motherfucking ass" and shooting people in the head.

Well, BMTH in between those two on Sunday, but it can be Beck subbing Pyramid so that we can do PJ Harvey > Beck > LCD Soundsystem.

    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
    • Not expecting a tour imminently but Peter Gabriel would fit the vibes magnificently.
    • I have but a very long time ago and can remember nothing about it at all. Which I suppose is a review of sorts
    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
