I reckon they are moving the Arcadia backstage (including Tow and Hitch) to behind the dragonfly and it will be more if a crowd in front of it, rather than all around.

Woodsies has shrunk and changed colour!  i mean i know that isn't Woodsies but seems there may be some moving around in that fields as I'm sure there wasn't room for a tent like that at the side of where Woodsies usually is.

Field has changed to accommodate the tree stage. X

Probably the best chance we’ve ever had to do that🤞

not wishing to derail  the thread so I see the green gates are in place! Waiting for the iconic sign now to make an appearance. Looks like rain later today but nothing too persistent.

That’s coming together nicely.. it’s not as tall as the spider tho is it? Will we be able to get underneath it? Probably not?

I reckon we will or thats quite a chunk of dancing  space gone .... I agree it doesnt look that high though but perspective is weird , its at least the height of the sea king off the floor

Wonder who gets to stay in the Tipi's/Yurts in that area on the right at the top of the Park, a bit below the sign.  Looks a nice spot, plenty of space.  Celebs/VIP's I guess - anyone know?

I don't know who'll be staying there, but you can only access them from The Park backstage area. I always look on them enviously, though that climb could be a killer after a long day. What a view to wake up to, though.

yes, its VIP camping. it has its own entrance that needs specific wristbands as well as the Park wristband. Has proper sit down flushing loos as well 🙂

So looks like Tow & Hitch is going up in it's usual spot, so that brown tent behind the helo is new. Guessing it won't a bar, so maybe backstage, production area.

Just looking at the whole field though, and wondering how much camping space has been lost.

the new webcam image is a slightly different perspective, but i dont think there is very much if any lost camping space, if you use the Coop and the Borderline of arcadia. and compare it with tents in from last year - i think it looks the same (as mentioned albeit with a slightly different perspective

Yes I don't think there's much camping space lost but a significant part of the Arcadia field is now backstage area.  Which seems strange if there's any possibility of overcrowding.

I thought the new brown tent looks a bit like the old Rabbit Hole tent, but not entirely convinced on it.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
