Isn't early June normally the time it really kicks up a gear and tents start appearing everywhere along with walkways, lights, fences etc?

I recall from previous years that once the main stages/tents are up (around now by the looks of it) things do kick on quickly., with the screens being the last thing to be fitted, usually the Weds/Thurs of the festival itself.

Just ramps up from here … tents spring up right up till fest . Traders weekend before , was really busy down there yesterday but nothing compared to how it’s going to be

It would depend what time they did it - the webcam stops shortly after sunset and starts up again shortly before sunrise.

Also, in 2011 there were extra towers either side of the Pyramid Stage housing the projectors:

Although those might no longer be necessary nowadays with the advances in short-throw projectors.

Found this a few years back by the the team who set up the projections.  The short of it is they had to put in loads of redundancy and it probably won't happen again as it cost a lot and the towers where too invasive. Really interesting watch though.

Similar is my aim for the next festival although I’m planning to use LED screens on 2 sides

What’s the betting that carhenge will be surrounded by stewards preventing them from being climbed on?

100% guaranteed

Still waiting for the horizontal cars that will make it into a henge. Currently it's just some cars.

Will be so rubbish if they do!! Just stick a 'climb at your own risk' sign all over them and let people go to town!! I want to climb!! 🤣

Went for a run at oh my god o'clock before it warmed up. Went round Pylle and the loop back up Cockmills Lane by the east side of site.

East CV fields have the majority of the green outside fencing up and they  will complete in  the next day or so. Poles are in marking tracks, no trackway down.

Vodafone are chucking up a lot of very big masts around the perimeter. Huge one by the Temple, Gate 3a. 2 huge ones in the CV east field with very audible generators running.

The fence is complete and gates shut from Mary's gate right round the east. They are finishing the section from Tesco / Tresco / Matthews gate (keeps changing name) to Marys and is almost complete apart from the section you can see on webcam.

All the signs are going out along the route from the A37, posh git camping signs etc. Mist posh camping setting up, Love fields marked out ready, Tangerine fields building, all the rest started apart from the top of Cockmills hill which will be last minute.

Whitelake River at the Ford is down, not quite low enough to mince across in trainers and keep dry feet but close.
