I think I might actually be wrong & the camera angle is screwing with my eyes.

Yellow arrow on webcam picture & photo I think might be the same tree.
Red line is where the path goes & comes out roughly.

So I was on site today briefly to drop someone off & the JP tent is going up in the right place at the back of the field. The camera is messing with our (my) minds!

So are those four tent posts to the far right of the webcam the jp tent? Looks like theres a blue/red striped tent cover on the ground next to it.

Yes they are. The webcam makes it look like it's in the wrong position in the field but it's not.

So the JP Tent is up. With just the 4 posts. So do we think its a smaller tent this year? Its hard to tell from the cameras

I can't remember where I read this, (Facebook conversation with one of the main JP men, I think), but I believe it's a new tent with the same capacity. My guess would be a more efficient design.

John Peel certainly looks smaller to me.

It is certainly a different tent to last year. I just hope that of the tent is full you can see and hear ok standing outside. Could do with someone who is on site taking a photo of it from the ground.

    • I really like the Cheap Thrills! I saw them at the Ruby Lounge in Manchester in January at one of Chris Hawkins' "Awesome Friends" nights (which i think is why I even got tickets as it wasn't listed as a Cheap Thrills show!). Very good live and some great songs. I would've gone Saturday if I'd planned ahead!
    • They also seem to be in a mission to break the US with their new major label and this latest LP   Mid afternoon, live streamed on Disney+ is arguably a much bigger gig than Kendal Calling, if they had to skip one
    • This is massively exciting. I've been curious to who will be provide vocals for their live show and this is mega!
    • Seems to be getting reported as his only headline show in UK, I would say he's probably out BST now but can be on the Sunday teatime glasto slot or something
