Firstly, hi everyone! I've been reading these forums for years however haven't really posted. But felt the need to say a few things!

Firstly, Take That?! please, Eavis, noooo!!! That would be an absolute tragedy.

Secondly, I was wondering what the reason is behind the Foos rumours dwindling? Is it only since the hiatus announcement? Maybe it's wishful thinking but I still see that Grohl would want to make amends for missing this years festival ASAP, just like he did with the missed tour dates.

And finally, what is going on with this thread lately? At times it feels like I am trawling through so many irrelevant posts just to get to the nitty gritty, I can imagine some of the posts/ conversations are entertaining for some but for those who just want to read about the topic, 2016 headliner rumours, it's a bit frustrating!

Foo Fighters became unlikely shortly after they played at Milton Keynes Bowl, im not sure it was ever really said why, but it was pretty universally accepted that something changed ruling them out of playing

according to one of the other festivals Foos had to cancel this year Foos won't be playing next year.

So that seems pretty certain that playing the festivals they had to cancel is not their priority, and there's not reason to think Glasto would be anything different.

from a few bits and pieces we heard, it seemed to be the case that they made their decision to not come back to Europe in the early summer (which would have included Glasto) at around that time.

However, I don't know that with absolute certainty because none of the info we got was that explicit - tho the various bits of info comfortably join together to come out as being that.

Coldplay and Take That are closer neighbours musically than Adele and Take That but it's still not the same thing at all.

Take That would be abhorrent. Anyone who is part of the whole X-Factor talent show machine should be struck off - you're part of the problem, not the solution. So obviously Kaiser Chiefs can fuck off to Butlins as well.

She's a big fan, goes to the X Factor live shows and everything.

This all continues to confirm my belief that there was a mix up at the hospital when I was a baby. Keeping up the Butlins theme, we once went with some cousins, when they called the family kids together for a group photo, the photographer wouldn't let me in because I was the only one with blonde hair.

Anyhow, just wanted to wish one and all a Merry Christmas. We're "over the hump" in terms of days to the festival and the winter solstice has passed.

Won't be long until we can say it's this year...

Hope you all eat too much, drink to much and have enough fun to fill a pyramid stage sized field.
