Considering Radiohead seem to be going to great lengths to play in the dark at that Solstice festival I can't imagine they'll be subbing.

I really don't think that would be an issue. Keep in mind if they subbed it probably wouldn't be a typical headline show with lighting effects and the like. They are hardly going to turn down Glastonbury because of daylight are they?

At this stage I'm more likely to just buy a NOS ticket and just miss Radiohead if they do a secret set. It's important that the first time I see them, I see them properly.

This is exactly what I've done. The line up is fantastic and by all accounts the festival is excellent, including the camping. Costing me £350 for the ticket and travel - bargain

"Asked if Adele would fit as a headliner at Glastonbury, Eavis replied: "She would wouldn't she? It would be great to get her."

What do we make of this interview then? Is EE just being deliberately coy, or has Adele still not fully committed?

Iggy Pop is there any news or rumors about him? he would be great 2nd from end on other stage.

last time I saw him at Glastonbury everyone charged the stage, I was at the back so did't get the chance. but from what I remember he told people to get on the stage. so they did.

To be honest I'd be over the moon if that happened. I mentioned that a few weeks back and that RH could have been subbed with a view to headlining if Adele decided not to play.

Even though It would be a disgrace for her to be above Radiohead I would actually be happy with that as I am taking a kid this year so Radiohead could be my headliner and I could get get to my van before she starts droning on about her ex leaving her.

Presuming Adele is our final headliner it's going get awfully quiet in here soon. Who's going to be the first to reignite the weather thread?

You can always tell when the previous festival had decent weather, because the weather thread starts later.

I believe in 2008, it started in January.

He certainly did that in '07 but I think that's normal for an iggy pop gig.

    • It's even less funny when in real life too...   Liddle met Rachel Royce and the couple soon became romantically involved.[84] In January 2004 the couple married at a ceremony in Malaysia. They had been living in Heytesbury, Wiltshire, and had two sons together. Six months later, Liddle moved in with Alicia Monckton, a 22-year-old receptionist at The Spectator. It transpired that he had cut short his honeymoon with Royce so that he could be with Monckton. Following their divorce, Liddle and Royce exchanged attacks in the media. Liddle called her a "total slut and slattern"

    • he was a provocateur
    • He was also arrested for allegedly punching his pregnant girlfriend.   Such a charmer.
    • George Borg - now he was a character. Both terrifying and endearing, often in the space of 5 minutes. Entertaining times back then!
