Underworld play what, Roundhouse, Forum, somewhere similar in London these days? Not even a Brixton Academy sized band, I'd guess. They're on the wane in terms of popularity, no doubt about it. I reckon the demographic of these boards is a lot more interested in them than the general public is

Just watched the Half Time show from Coldplay last night. As much as they get a lot of flak for being "poppy" they really do have that feel good factor as a live act.

As long as they don't clash with anyone im desperate to see, I think ending my Glastonbury weekend with Coldplay would be a great end to a hopefully great weekend!

Every time I see Chris Martin bouncing around on the stage I want to prescribe a course of brown ale and donner kebabs for 6 months to slow the fucker down.

I take it you've never watched the show at superbowl before, because it's always the most dreadful plastic shite that the yanks love. ;)

bloody Yanks...

and even worse a crime than loving that dreadful plastic shite, i bet they (the Yanks) only know Underworld for that lager lager song off of that scottish heroin film, and would be baffled as to why they've picked up 5+ posts on the headliner thread

yeah think that's the assumption. she's on one of their songs from the new album so it would make sense

She's on two :P To be fair you'd struggle to notice she was on Up & Up if you didn't know, but it worked quite well when they performed it together last night so if she turns up for Hymn For The Weekend she'll probably do that one too. Along with Noel, less excitingly.

what with them doing the Super Bowl this year and presumably closing Glastonbury as their final UK show and getting their famous mates to come along as well i'm starting to buy in to the whole Coldplay hiatus thing. i know they were undoubtedly gonna do Glastonbury anyway, but a lot of what they're doing this year seems to be things getting ticked off as such and going out with a bang - maybe they are actually fucking off for a while after this tour's done with

as they're all backstage waiting for their Coldplay bits with spouses, Noel to JayZ "have you ever played the Pyramid? or is not your thing, really?"

I keep telling myself we will get a suprise, whether its adele or muse ruled out i have no clue but someone who we will least expect will also be headlining. I just think its going to happen...

Radiohead. pretty sure nobody was realistically expecting them until Neil got the info to the contrary. if Neil hadn't got that info i think we'd all be pretty shocked when/if they got announced

Speak for yourself, I've been saying this would happen all the way. Gotta keep the faith!

Re Underworld, I think they'd most likely be in Sonic as per Leftfield last year. The JP doesn't normally have a dance act as headliner does it? Guess West Holts is vaguely possible,.

Groove Armada back in about 2010 is the only one I can think of.
