Where about might he be? The 11am Pyramid slot everyone had him pencilled in for is taken :(

Before 11. I didn't expect him to be in a 'slot' personally as there have been unbilled speakers on the Pyramid before so it didn't really strike me as an omission on Tuesday. I would've thought there'd have been an official announcement by now though.

He's just speaking, he could easily do it between any sets like other speakers have done in the past.

I think you could be on to something there, I've just noticed a five minute gap In the JP tent schedule between Slaves and Sleaford Mods. Makes perfect sense

Maybe it's 10am on the Sunday Pyramid but unannounced due to fear of numbers?

Unlikely but possible...

Like a secret set?

No I don't think they'd have him at all if they were worried that a lethal amount of people would flock to the Pyramid Stage. I don't think it'd be so bad anyway, I don't think the amount of people that were at Dolly would even be up at 10am on Sunday.

Just heard from someone who should know, that the DL will be giving a talk in The Peace Garden this year. The garden is currently under construction in The King's Meadow and the garden is going to be heart shaped.

Great to hear he'll be there still - but hopefully that's not his only appearance or else it'd likely be a security nightmare. The garden bit sounds lovely - connected to the strummer area?

I've also heard things from some people in the know, a while ago now, that he's definitely going to be there.

I've no reason to think that info was wrong, or that it's likely to have changed unless he cancels his other UK gig(s?).

I'd be surprised if he's not there. Word has that Michael had to resign from Somerset Chambers of Commerce as a direct result of the Dalai Lama being there. The Chinese are planning on making big investments in Somerset and were presumably kicking off.

The Peace Garden is always there - am loving the fact that my vision of DL losing his rag with the sound of balloons might still come to pass.

Is that the peace garden at the bottom of the stone circle?

Thats going to be nuts if DL is on there.

Yeah I think it is - not a bad spot for DL if that's where it's going to happen. You'd get a very big crowd all the way up King's Meadow, and as it's a slope then they'd be able to see quite well too. I'll be there (as long as we know when he's on!)

Just hope they do a decent job with the PA. I can't think of there ever being a performance there before (that involves mics and speakers)

Given where we're talking about, I don't think the idea that there'll even be a PA is a safe assumption.
