Now that the full line up is out , im going to ask again!

I Like things like :

DJ Koze

The fields

Jon Talabot (fin album)
Against All Logic  (A.A.L)
Jon Hopkins

George fitzgerald.

Recommend me stuff thats on from midnight onwards pleaaase!  I like the happiness of the koze sound and the build up of the talabot sounds. generally looking for something a bit more joyful in my late night electronic music.

Thanks !

Someone asked about DJ Yoda - he's playing an AV set in Greenpeace.

That was me and brilliant. I'd never have spotted it.

Just checked - ah man! It clashes with The Chems.

Oh behave!! Now I'm going to be obsessed with this idea until it's revealed

Could it not be the third mystery Carl Cox set? Or is that on there somewhere I've missed?

My money in on Chemical Brothers DJ set for that TBA.

’the Chemical Brother DJ set’ was listed on either the song kick or bands in town event.

I reckon the best guess for the TBA Pangea set is the Chems doing a DJ set.

It won't be Coxy as he's doing a b2b on Pangea another night.

Won't be AFX unfortunately - I think he'll show up but it'll be in the SE corner somewhere.

Could be Seth Troxler as he's in the Glade earlier that evening.

Is that just an optimistic guess or do you have anything to substantiate that?  Because that saturday is like it was grown in a lab to be the perfect night to melt my brain

it';s just pure hope, I know he has done secret sets before. I am just praying .

there really is nothing on during the day for me this year, loads at night, I am not getting up before 2 pm  then not going to bed till very very late / early

Hm makes sense, I wonder what the Bug is. Truth has also vanished from the lineup page so I’d expect that is being updated.

@Winslow Leach

Here's The Bug.  It's been about Glasto for a few years now.

Yeah when I was scanning through the full line up I couldn't see anything that could be a moniker of his but he's got form for playing secret sets so who knows.

But him on Arcadia just feels right.  Lets hope our praying is not in vain!

I've literally never seen that before, is it for the DJs they don't trust up in the main booth?

I guess this monster crane will take much more production crew to run it so they'll start off the day on the bug.

Just calling into the most confusing of threads to ask if this is the last year of the Beat Hotel?

Sorry if I'm being one of those people and it's already been discussed.Screenshot_20190529-162416_Twitter.jpg.38d2b262fc3b4bb1e299bd87cd703b90.jpg

I was just trying to find out the very same thing. Gutted if it is? But they are definitely going out with a bang if so, cos the lineup is stellar.

I don't remember the Sunday line up of previous years stating 'CLOSING PARTY' so yeah I expect it's the last year of Beat Hotel.

EDIT:  It looks like the team are doing their own things so that may be why.

    • Ghost did it on their last tour  and there was a whole article of people complaining about it at the Manchester gig cause somehow they werent informed and didnt know why there was a massive queue to enter the venue. At MSG everyone was given a souvenir ticket which had their seat info written on it so you knew where go to. Itll be fine.
    • If anyone happens to have a Sunday ticket (or two) to sell then I would be interested in buying for face value. Thanks!
    • NIN and Bjork for sure 😉
    • When are  the stage splits ??
    • 13th Primavera (Thursday was definitely making me feel like this was the cursed year).  Blood Orange was such a party by the end of their set but we all knew that rain storm was approaching.  So gutted Massive Attack didn't play after the false hope of a new rescheduling, especially knowing that Elizabeth Fraser & Horace Andy were backstage with them!  Managed a bit of Melt Banana but was just so over the weather by that point.   Friday was awesome, Rilo Kiley were so much fun.  Never been the biggest Cure fan but made the effort for them after Thursday & Robert Smith sounds like he did back in the 80s.  PinkPantheress & Viagra Boys were also great.   The highlight for me was Sudan Archives on the Saturday, she was stunning & with the Olivia Rodrigo surprise set too it made up for the Thursday sh*t show.  Dijon & Knocked Loose also superb.   Shoutout to Cardiacs on the Tuesday too, they were so LOUD, played a storming set.
