Where is everyone travelling from...

Seeing as everyone's location is becoming a hot topic on the Techies thread I thought I'd start a new thread to find out where everyone is travelling from for Glastonbury 2015.

I'm travelling from West London although originally from near Middlesbrough, where my mate is travelling down from. He travels down on the Tuesday to mine then we head to Pilton early on Tuesday morning.

I chatted to a lot of people from Scotland at this years festival, their journey to and from the festival in campervans must've been a mission. How long does it usually take people to get to the festival from where they travel?

Travelling from Antrim. 1 hour queuing, 2.5 hour boat Journey, 10 hour drive. In campervan so can't complain!

Southampton. Considering cycling down this year, but think I'd have to push it all the way home on monday!

Coming from Basildon in Essex takes around 3-4 hours as long as the M25 is clear it tends to be a good run.!

Sheffield, takes a little longer on the coach because they usually need a break to they don't go over on their houses. I usually reward myself with a service station chocolate bar.. 4 hours usually!

York, 4 and a half hours with out traffic plus the queuing, although we're coming down on the Thursday so hopefully the traffic will be a bit better than the Wednesday

From Lancashire.

Will be doing what we have done for our 4 previous other festivals. Leave at 2 ish, a couple of stops on the way. Parked up and in the queue for 6:30. Camp set up by 11 - drunk by 2.

This year my journey will be Dublin - Trowbridge - Glastonbury. Previous years have been from London with a coach package!

Me and my Girlfriend driving down from Leeds, meting the other 5 in the group in Sheffield.

Set off late last year (11pm!) on the Tuesday due to a friend getting stuck at work. may make that the official leaving time now though as it was quite nice driving through the night. But I'll make sure I get a nap after work beforehand this year! Last year was up 6am Tuesday through til 1pm Wednesday before having to take a coupe of hours kip

Just outside Newport in South Wales..takes about an hour and a half at most!

Will be leaving on Thursday by coach. Judging by last year it'll be the afternoon and I'm pretty sure we'll book into a pre-pitched tent to save time/us lugging a lot of kit across site.
