At this stage I'm not even bothered about the 3rd headliner, didn't see any last year. Just want the poster even with a TBA so I can see what the undercard is and get a spotify playlist going. Best thing about the festival is discovering new acts.

But for the sake of this thread I'm going with his purple highness due to the secrecy so far.

Has Michael done any PR for the festival this year? And could anyone remind me if Emily did any for 2014? I seem to only remember Michael speaking about this year when he was at an awards show and directly after last year which was mostly about last year's festival. Feels like it's just about already shifted on that front.

Haven't been on this in ages and am too tired to go any further back than the last 50 pages but is there any reason why Mumford and Sons don't seem to have been discussed for a while? Makes sense to have them as the "British connection" no?

Madonna has performed with Taylor Swift at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Taylor supported her doing a version of Madonna's 'Ghosttown'.

That speaks volumes about the respect Taylor has for Madge and is a good indication, in my confused, optimistic mind, that Taylor would be happy to sub her on Sunday night.

So...

Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Calvin Harris and Coldplay have all turned their Facebook avatars to the exact same turquoise colour block. No idea what it means, but it could mean they're all teasing some kind of festival or show, right?

And if THAT's true, that would mean Daft Punk are possibly touring...

And if THAT's true, maybe they're our third headliner.

It's for this new music streaming service called Tidal, that Jay-Z owns.

How in touch with modern music do you think Michael is? Do you think he's even heard of most of these new big bands?

I think you'd be suprised just how in touch he is.

Oh, fuck yes.

I sometimes have that as a ring tone.

And i don't care what you think.

Great song.

Bizarre fuckin' lyrics.

Very dubious video.

Drummer(?) died of a freak gardening accident.

Official verdict was that he choked on vomit

But it was someone else's vomit

You can't really dust for vomit...

But yes, Toto drummer Jeff Porcaro, who had a really fucking amazing career when you look into it, died of something like an allergic reaction to weed killer

I will be very surprised and disappointed if it's not both of them playing Sunday.

I presume the Jo Whiley interview is live? Kylie on Jonathan Ross is pre recorded and I can't see the studio audience keeping anything secret so doubt anything will be announced there.

Just watched a video of Madonna performing live with Taylor Swift at an awards show in the States last night. The song was off Madge's new album and Taylor backed her oon guitar. Interesting given the discussion on here

I was going to say keep up, but I suppose you've been catching your breath ;)

Whoa steady now! There have been some pretty risky suggestions but noone has stooped that low yet, plus they only did it 2 years ago so no chance
