I've discovered a new way of predicting headliners! My 2-year-old son just finished his dinner and, before bath time, announced 'Want to do dancing!' He went to our cd racks and picked an album. Stone Roses' debut! It's virtually guaranteed!

He then boogied around the kitchen to 'I Wanna Be Adored'

They'd go down a storm in the Thursday night cheesy set at the Wow tent, if that's still a thing.

I'd probably go out of curiosity.

Actually, that new song of there's isn't so bad.

Stopped off on a drive at Solstice service station where I normally stop off for Glastonbury nd where it seems they also have that ape thing ontop of the blues stage kept. I had my ipod on shuffle and as I pulled in Sound and Vision by Bowie came on...it's a sign

Yeah, Kesha turned up (when it was Dance West stage or something like that) a few years back so it could be a possibility.

I love the National but I agree that people saying they're going to progress onto Pyramid headliners are wrong. I think they could headline Other at a push, but you're right in that they'd get a fairly small crowd.

I have no idea why people want to see bands they like over promoted at festivals. I was at Reading when they played third top to a tiny crowd and it looked like a depressing experience for them. It certainly was for me as a fan.

One group not mentioned for Sunday night Pyramid Headliner. A group that has sold over 90 million records world wide and are free on the Sunday night. Earth Wind and Fire

West Holts I reckon; I'd be there (if I get a ticket that is)

I will be there. Was looking on the list of biggest sellers of all time and there are only 9 acts that have headlined Glastonbury that have sold more records. They have sold more than Kayne !

It's not all about records sold though, just look back over previous Pyramid headliners. It's more about who fits where, EWAF would fit just nicely at West Holts I think.

I think you're right that Earth Wind & Fire would be top of the West Holts. They've sold more CDs than Kanye, but they certainly aren't selling out huge concerts like he is.

edit: Saw people in the 2013 forums saying EW&F were crap when they saw them. Definitely wouldn't get booked for top of the Pyramid.
