Kate Bush at Glastonbury (based on reports from last night, anyway) would be near-impossible. There seem to be so many intricate details, and even a greater need for concentration when compared to other acts. Suitable for a pissed up field in Somerset? I can't see it :P

Would there be a more suitable female artist to headline? No. Would there be a more suitable festival for her to play? No. But I personally feel she'll do these shows and that'll be it.

Been lurking for past few months.

Seems there isn't too much talk of ac/dc on here despite them being a rumour. Already talked to death or just ruling them out?

I'm very much in the 'I know it's unlikely but I hope it's true' camp.

Practically every other act being discussed - from Foo Fighters to Muse - can do one.

None of these headliners appeal to me atm (not that that matters). I'd probably go to muse if there was no one else on that I liked but if the current bands in the frame headline it could be my first year without a night at the pyramid (unless radiohead do, but yeh I'm not holding my breath anymore)

Bring on Tool on the other.

yeah i'm not being bowled over by the headliners being mentioned thus-far, but i'm totally okay with that. one Pyramid headliner would be nice but any excuse to be away from that stage is fine by me

thinking about it, out of the 'possible' (and by possible, i mean tiny remote chance) ones mentioned, only Radiohead and Kanye would excite me

Way too much indie shrivel on that line-up for me. I'd be bored to death. If we want indie at the festival just get The Kooks, The Hives and The libertines. There are so many indie bands ATM that bore me to death. Alt-J, TDCC are definitely included in that pile of bands. Also Gallacher solo projects are so incredibly dull.

But will you're a metal head.

I reckon I should probably listen to some Fleetwood Mac. The Chain's a tune, and I watched some video of them on here performing a song called Rhiannon or something, and it was bloody brilliant. Don't (knowingly) know anything else other than Go Your Own Way.

They are fantastic, but I wouldn't see them if they headlined to be honest.

"Edge of 17" is a belter too

That's Stevie Nicks solo! 'Tis a belter though.

I feel like they would be much more enjoyable to watch at their peak, I don't know much about their current live shows, but I can imagine that it's changed alot since they were at that peak.

Their 2013 shows did get very good reviews. It's hardly like they were an extremely high energy live band in their heyday!

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
