Would this be the same Kasabian fan who posts more regularly than anyone else in the Taylor Swift thread to tell everyone that they're obsessed with Taylor Swift?

Well not nearly as much as those who seem to talk about their dislike of Kasabian in every other thread ;)

I love the commitment to finding this out!

Searched 'Foo fighters, Kanye West, The Who' within the thread out of boredom/curiosity and got no results I'm afraid :( I'm gonna say that this comment wins though:

Give me:

Foo Fighters subbed by Flo & Machine

Kanye West subbed by The Roots

Fleetwood Mac

...and I'll be happy, although I think The Roots are an incredibly long shot and more likely to headline Other.

predicted Foo Fighters, Florence & The Machine and Kanye West all in the right order, 3 days after the end of last year's festival, a round of applause for kalifire!!

Kendricks new album is one of the best of the year and King Kunta is one of the tracks of the year as well! I love Kasabian but Kendricks new one blows 48:13 out of the water

It's all about the K's with you, isn't it Kallum?

Alt-j get the crowds after lionel, people getting a space for the who (the biggest headliner which was 'available') get weller. Uninspring but not the end of the world - overall a great line-up

(Sigh). Is this thread dead now? Loved it while it lasted. Really can't do it again.

But thanks to those who kept it going.

Fear not, still everyone's reviews and stories while watching the headliners to come yet!

    • TVOD are playing Blue Basement in London 2/9 with a complete EOTR/Psych Fest shaped hole before their next gig in Lyon on 8/9. Well received in the Big Top last year, reckon they're nailed on for a secret set in the Tipi.
    • Didn't they widen the entrance last year to enable them to increase the number of pitches or have I imagined this? Perhaps they might return under a different form of glamping?    Just had another thought - Or even rent the land to the festival for CV pitches.......
    • It should forever be the Tipi.   Just as the news about Geese was shared on Twitter.
    • It really surprised me that Rock AM Ring made Download feel like an extremely well organised festival with good communication in comparison. If we were to ever try either of them again we would go for IM Park and stop in Nuremberg.     Agree that the long thin mainstage isn't great, but where the mainstage is makes it really hard to navigate when it is busy because of that choke point created by the food vendors, bar/lounges with a view of main and where the crowd is coming form second stage. The concrete is hard on the joints. The front standing is a pisstake and the communication from the fest about what is happening on site other than which campsites are filling up leaves a lot to be desired. Car parks being a free for all doesn't help either.   I think it really suffers being so far from anything other than small towns/villages that lack proper public transport and Koblenz being the closest town which you can can use to get public transport to the fest being 60km away.
    • Yeah its absolutely on me that isn't think Shinia Twain was an awful choice- i get that.  Im still of the paul simon, ELO kind of thoughts but I realise things change. Im still intrigued what constitutes legend though. Robert plant played and he wasn't a legend slot- to me that would have fitted. Is it a ' comedy ' ' good time ' slot now? Comedy isn't the right word - guilty pleasure or something like that?
