I'm surprised people aren't shockingly concerned at the fact Paul Weller was mentioned as potential sub, id sooner gargle hot bleach than watch that, suffering fuck that would be morbid!!

It's crazy considering he certainly hasn't got bigger since playing lower down a few years ago. It'll surely be Noel

Personally I was resigned to not liking the 3rd headliner so nothing changes for me

The sun do get the info to be fair - I remember them announcing U2 for their (original) slot in late 2009 made the festival confirm it themselves.

All newspapers are lying scummy shit by the way - I know being an everton fan I should say the sun are the worst but that's letting the rest get off lightly. Propaganda machines that nobody should buy, if one is off limits they should all be ignored

I still don't think it's The Who but it does fit with what Neil said as "having other shows" not as we all read it as having shows to sell out but a show to rearrange..........

They have BST to sell out as well, which would be the reason for them being held back.

They were the first press to go with Arctic Monkeys in 2013 too with an Insider's quote: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/4800064/arctic-monkeys-headline-glastonbury.html

Would those sites really deactivate an event based purely on a story from The Sun though? Surely they would need more info first.

Depends what expenses they would be left open to if the story is true I guess?

More @Info required, certainly.

If they knew the sun's track record it's a good temporary measure just in case. Even without that it's worth doing til the morning when they can find out more.

All listings removed by StubHub too: http://www.stubhub.co.uk/the-who-tickets/the-who-paris-zenith-de-paris-28-6-2015-9190981/

If there were any of course!

the listing is still there, it's just that there's no tickets being sold.

there's 0 available for the next night too, which is presumably still going ahead, and Dublin (which has about 13k capacity).

only 3 tickets available for Amsterdam too.

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
    • In a 6,800-word Substack essay, external, the Clacton MP said "anti-white racism was embedded into the state", and that legislation aimed at equality was a form of "social cleansing"   .https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdjkd4mp93zo   The privileged white c**t hasn’t got a clue what racism is.
    • BBC iPlayer: Will serve as the main hub for past sets, including both recent hits and iconic archival gems. You can explore the BBC iPlayer to watch curated compilations, "Best of Glastonbury" recaps, and on-demand replays of historic headline performances. [1, 2, 3] TV Broadcasts (BBC Two & BBC Three): The channels will air dedicated compilation shows. Leading up to the weekend, you can watch archive programming such as Glastonbury: 70s Legends, 80s Legends, and 90s Legends on BBC Two. [1] Radio & BBC Sounds: Pop-up Glastonbury radio stations on BBC Sounds will feature non-stop coverage, including exclusive mixes and huge sets from past years
    • Got HBO Max to watch football so watched One Battle After Another which is a great film and deserves its awards and then rewatched Magnolia and that is a flipping amazing film...so much in it. (also rewatching Angels In America series which is also amazing).
