Imagine the bewildered look on the poor fella, who after scrambling for a piece of confetti, looks down to see this:

Thank you for digging back and finding Matt42's most cringeworthy post ever. That took dedication and if I had a +1 to give you'd have got it.

Anyone see Dogstar at Glasto '99? That was a bag of fun! Infact, thinking about that, Keanu Reeves was in Glastonbury with Nicholas Cage the other day. Maybe he was in final talks with Eavis to headline with Dogstar?!!

THAT was a fantastic gig, one of my favourite glastonbury moments. Everyone basically turned up to take the piss, many armed with fruit. The peach shot to the fretboard was legendary. I was stood by the people with the huge pair of skidmarked pants hanging off a "sold" sign and was covered in beans by people who took a carrier bag, filled with baked beans which they proceeded to swing round their head and try to lob at the stage, it travelled about 8 feet and everyone in the vicinity got covered.

The BBC webcam is broke where can you see the old girl getting dressed?

Takes me back to when I was 12 and a lady down our road never closed her curtains, every

lad in the road would be out around half 9 each night

From the Roses' FB website Rumour knocking around in Ireland the Roses will announce Electric Picnic headline when they announce Glastonbury Sunday headline slot. Its possible as two Electric Picnic headliners still not revealed and its hinted to be them and the Prodigy. Fingers crossed

You dreaming?

Anyway I thought the EP headliners were Flo, Underworld and the Manics?

Someone I know who lives nearby sent me a pic this morning. Just the right hand side is up at the mo. Got me all giggly!

I would post on here but no idea how to upload an image!

Kalifire contacted the BBC about the webcam and got this response (don't know how to quote between threads!)

Thanks for getting in touch about the BBC Glastonbury webcam. We're all very fond of it, both in the BBC team and on the farm itself. The camera is about 10 years old now and the connection to it has finally died. Bear with us, we're planning something exciting in time for this year's festival. We'll have news on developments as soon as it is possible. We'll keep you posted on @bbcglasto Twitter.

Hopefully they'll get a move on with whatever they're planning!

Been away for a week and I'm far too lazy to catch up. Anyone fancy giving me a quick update as to where we're at now?

Where's all this Bowie talk come from?!

Neil had info that the 3rd headliner was a solo performer with a band. He said that the info he got makes Prince/Bowie the likeliest. He did say though that it wasn't set in stone and that the info could be wrong but also that Prince looks far more likely.

Anyone ever done that thing in Times Square where you can get your family/friends to log onto some website & they can see you? Imagine that at Glasto! Imagine that in 'the naughty corner' at 5am!!

Please god don't let it be Bob Dylan

Only two new pages since I went to bed last night. Christ, slackers.

2000 - it's Pulp

or

3000 - it's McBusted

I wonder did Jarvis & Co. ever meet up in the year 2000?

I doubt it will that week this year. The general election will swamp all media coverage.

I reckon we'll get something before the resale. Particularly if the Kanye factor/uncertainty has meant uptake on tickets has been a bit less.

Even if its just the 3rd headliner, or a few random bands, I reckon we will have something.

First poster with TBA headliner like last year would be nice!

    • Chaka can, or Chaka can't?
    • TVOD are playing Blue Basement in London 2/9 with a complete EOTR/Psych Fest shaped hole before their next gig in Lyon on 8/9. Well received in the Big Top last year, reckon they're nailed on for a secret set in the Tipi.
    • Didn't they widen the entrance last year to enable them to increase the number of pitches or have I imagined this? Perhaps they might return under a different form of glamping?    Just had another thought - Or even rent the land to the festival for CV pitches.......
    • It should forever be the Tipi.   Just as the news about Geese was shared on Twitter.
    • It really surprised me that Rock AM Ring made Download feel like an extremely well organised festival with good communication in comparison. If we were to ever try either of them again we would go for IM Park and stop in Nuremberg.     Agree that the long thin mainstage isn't great, but where the mainstage is makes it really hard to navigate when it is busy because of that choke point created by the food vendors, bar/lounges with a view of main and where the crowd is coming form second stage. The concrete is hard on the joints. The front standing is a pisstake and the communication from the fest about what is happening on site other than which campsites are filling up leaves a lot to be desired. Car parks being a free for all doesn't help either.   I think it really suffers being so far from anything other than small towns/villages that lack proper public transport and Koblenz being the closest town which you can can use to get public transport to the fest being 60km away.
