is this Neil info then? tends to point to Prince

yep - tends to point to Prince, but with very little to suggest that it's specifically Prince.

Out of the people that could fit the words I've been told of, only Prince or Bowie seem to properly fit. Of those two, Bowie seems the most unlikely, so it seems to suggest Prince.

I'm starting to question whether there is a line up.

Michael was misquoted when he said he wanted people coming to the festival without knowing the line up, rather without a lineup and this is the first year of this form of Glastonbury. Lionel, Foo's and Kanye are actually running Mexican Streetfood stalls

Neil, from what you understand is it an older act? Only asking because since I read your post earlier one name keeps coming into my head and I can't get rid of the nasty thought. Please give me any info that would make me realise it can't be Justin Beiber. Even Glastonbury isn't big enough to get sufficiently far away from that.

I'm starting to question whether there is a line up.

I'm beginning to think this thread has slipped into some weird Prince /Copenhagen Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics in that that a 'Prince Headliner exists in all states at once until observed' or is it some weird Schrödinger's Prince scenario where he is and is not the headliner until the lineup is viewed.

Errrr, yeah, I was just thinking that.

Or the line up is shite

been after for a while suggests theyve been headline sized for a while. bieber would kill the credibility of the fest anyway

With the Roskilde exclusivity it would surprise me. I shouldn't know all this stuff but I do.

In hushed 'Nam type tones accompanied by a thousand yard stare:

It's, it's...this place, it...it...gets to you after a while.

Some day this Headliners 2015 thread is gonna end..................*nods enigmatically* *downward smile*

I know, but look at Metallica last year. Roskilde is sold out too, so no need to worry their organisers.

I'd love to know how sales have gone in conparision to other years after the Kanye petition bollocks and the fact there is no line up with 6 hours of the ticket window to go.

We need to map a Prince Field and establish if there are some places in which he is not observable.

    • Molotovs are a strong support act. Shame the Manchester choice is Vic Warehouse but at least I'll want to get there early for the support anyway - my biggest issue there is moving around.
    • Gutted I got nowhere near Phoebe B tickets, also I never received my confirmation email for the pre sale, so was at a big disadvantage.    Muse though, Co-Op is exactly what I wanted so can't wait for that
    • If anyone spots any new tour posters on site could they share them please? Hoping for ADTR and Electric Callboy tours
    • It completely depends on how that count is done   if it’s individuals entering the arena each day, over the whole weekend, it was at 30% capacity and in no way one of the highest attended festivals in the UK   it was in no way as low as 30% though so that can’t be the measure, so as a number, with no context, “90,000” is meaningless.   Only one category of Leeds ticket seems to have moved on to second tier pricing at this point. I don’t think this is necessarily a sales indicator as much as a method to keep prices up north lower than down south but with this and the anecdotal video evidence, it’s clear Leeds has been nowhere near its capacity (of 90,000/ day) the last 2-3 years
