I don't think I spoke to a single person that night who was at C&S.

Anyone on here go? Curious to know how busy it was (not curious enough to endure any footage).

I watched about 6 songs of the Stones but could not cope with the crowd as suffer from mild claustrophobia...so went with a friend to Chase & Status, given who they were up against they pulled a decent crowd wasn't as dense but not the tumble weed you would have expected

They were actually very good, enjoyed their set :)

Having played in 2000 and 2004 respectively, surely Bowie and McCartney can't fall into the ''been after them for a long time'' category? I'd have thought that refers to someone who has never played or played a very long time ago

Why does that make them pricks? I think its perfectly reasonable to want to see the lineup before paying up.

maybe it is a tad harsh to call them names. As has been discussed on here before, Glastonbury is very unique and is hard to understand until you actually attend.

Exactly!! I've paid mine and so have most of my mates. A few very reluctant to part with the best part of £200 as being students that's a lot of money!

    • The only number I can find is 90k, but it doesn't really break it down in the way you're asking so it is up in the air in that regard. My only thing here is that I don't think Leeds is in danger or is flagging in sales. I thought last year had an awful lineup so I opted out but apparently a hell of a lot of people decided to go, so I really do believe it is just us lot all being out of touch with what the modern R&L audience wants.   I do think this year has a good lineup although I know a lot of people on here disagree with that, so I am gonna be there and we shall see what it is like on the ground this year in terms of attendance.

    • Hi, I'm selling 1 regular weekend ticket for 420 euros, which is the price I bought it for through TicketSwap (when I sell it there again, I can only get back 350 euros because of their ridiculous service fees..). Can transfer the ticket through Ticketmaster after Paypal payment. Feel free to send a DM!
