This is my first time commenting so firstly hey all! This is my third Glasto in a row - and I have to say I can't wait for Coldplay (if it is indeed them as one of the headliners). I haven't seen them live before, and I wasn't at Glasto when they have performed there previously. Having said that I can understand peoples frustration at them being booked again.

After seeing the Stones in 13' I have to admit I was a little disappointed when last years headliners were announced, although I thought the overall line up was stronger last year personally.

Just throwing it out there - I'd love to see Simply Red or Sting & The Police headline - have they previously played? If I was dreaming then I'd have to say Bowie - but appreciate this is extremely unlikely. Although I thought that about the Stones when I was just watching Glasto's of the past...

Hello DJ Dave, I think Simply Red, Sting and Coldplay headlining would be my own personal hell.

I'm happy for u to enjoy Coldplay though, whilst I go listen to someone else. That is the wonderful thing about Glastonbury, something for everyone :-)

Funniest thing i have ever read

40 year strong back catalogue, 2nd best selling album ever, 3rd most successful tour ever, new album debuted at #1 in over 30 countries, deffo not big enough lol

Genuinely astounds me how people can't pick up on sarcasm over the internet.

Someone says AC/DC aren't big enough to headline and you think they're being serious? Wow.

I can't believe I'm going to Glastonbury again (confirmed motherfucking time off work)!

Can't be arsed to who's headlining now, I'm headlining at 3:30am Friday in my tent off my nut on Xanax, cider & cheap whizz. I will change your lives, lock up your daughters. Somerset I am on it.

You would be surprised what is posted online at times, there are thousands on twitter who say the manufactured boyband One Direction are bigger and better than The Beatles, not sure if they are being sarcastic, joking or are indeed mentally ill

    • Kind of crackers how fast this summer seems to be sailing by. But aye, must be some news soon!
    • I am very possibly wrong about this but I do think that the pitch you get allocated appears to be related to your time of arrival, (i.e. you get the next one available) rather than the price you paid for a small, medium or large pitch.  They all appear to be the same size to me.

    • Liddle: "Drop a small nuclear bomb on Glastonbury to immediately remove from our country almost everybody who is hugely annoying.”   Farage: Free speech!    Polanski: accepts a collaboration on 20 innocuous looking set of photos on instagram but doesn't notice that one that says 'making plans for Nigel' with a guillotine image.   Farage: I expect the MET police to arrest him.
    • I take my lad to the local non-league club - Royston Town - not he's 13, he goes there with his mates and he plays in their youth team.  Not many people there - lucky if they hit 800, but lovely supporting the town team.  I've took him to some league clubs too - Cambridge and Stevenage are great to visit and not crazy prices - his first one was Cambridge v Sunderland (I'm a mackem) when they were in league 1, so a great experience for him.  The England matches aren't too bad value either at Wembley - it's just the parking that stings you. Problem is, he's a City fan, so at some point have to bite the bullet and get him up to the Ethiad. Have done the tour, but he'd love a proper game....my wallet, less so!
