Glasto line up is out!

I guess the format is so they can move people about if necessary. No pleasant surprises for me, and not many of my favourite bands either. Was certain White Lies would be there, and was hoping for Placebo and NIN seen as though they haven't announced any UK fests yet.

Will have to get discovering then it seems

I went along with a friend to see them in 09 at a 2500 capacity venue in Nottingham. I thought back then that they were at the height of their fame and cant remember them doing much of worth since. Or have I just been under a rock for the past 5 years?

Overall I think the lineup is quite uninspiring

They've said for months and months the lineup would be released now. Why would they try and push payments by departing from their schedule and announcing it barely before the deadline? I'm sure if they were worried about sales they would have been able to compare with previous years and release earlier.

Yeah, this lineup has given me much more of a nice feeling than when I first saw last years!

Stand outs for me are: Jurassic 5, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Jack White, Royal Blood, Goldfraap, Pixies. Midlake, Temples, De La Soul, Midlake, De La Soul, Wilko, MIA, Arcade Fire, Dolly.

A bit 'meh' to my tastes, but then it was bound to be after last year.

Feels a bit 2011ish and can't say I'm inspired by any of the headliners - especially if the third turns out to be Metallica as widely predicted.

But it's still Glastonbury, just not one of the better line-ups is all.
