Must sees: The Wailers, James Blake, Kelis, Paolo, Chvrches, Goldfrapp, MGMT, Elbow, Robert Plant, Lily Allen, Lana Del Lolz, Massive Attack, M.I.A., Jagwar Ma.

So 14. That excludes the people I've already seen and the people I'll discover after avoiding my mainstream personality on Spotify for a few days though, so I'm happy enough. Well done Eavii :)

Yeah, this lineup has given me much more of a nice feeling than when I first saw last years!

Stand outs for me are: Jurassic 5, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Jack White, Royal Blood, Goldfraap, Pixies. Midlake, Temples, De La Soul, Midlake, De La Soul, Wilko, MIA, Arcade Fire, Dolly.

I am joyous right now! :D

He self confirmed in a BBC interview so that might have something to do with it.

Rudimental should be John Peel again because if anything they've decreased in popularity, just because it's been a while since their album release. I'd guess that Ed Sheeran would be mid-pyramid? Perhaps before Paolo - similar style of music but I think that would be pushing it for him.

I hope Disclosure aren't headlining WH on Sunday, I don't want to have to decide between them and Kasabian :(.

I actually chucked up this morning as I heard being announced on XFM  Improved my mood though as that's not how I feel!

I like a lot, a few must sees for me and plenty of acts I can take or leave depending on my mood at the time! Does seem they have gone with a lot of the less mainstream acts first weirdly actually!

Jack White, De La Soul, Goldfrapp, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Robert Plant, Metronomy have all got me quite excited :D

Wonder if this was meant to come out today and if they are worried about the deposits not being paid up?

There does seem to be a certain amount of gaming going on.

At the start of the week, Glasto seeing who will pay their deposits based on it just being Glasto alone

Then at the end of the week, releasing some lineup (with a TBC!) to see what difference that makes.

I wonder if the numbers are low this year?

    • Given the assumptions and little bits around Madonna, that BST and Paris post is probably right (few weeks later than the original post).   Just adds to the speculation that - they thought they had Madonna, and now they don't.   I can see what's gonna happen here - they end up booking Oasis and Fontaines for 2028. I don't get a ticket, and have to get out of the country + delete all socials.   That would end me if it happened and I wasn't there.
    • Looking at other Superstruct festivals this year, The Prodigy haven’t played Tramlines yet, and it’s been a while since Two Door Cinema Club have.   Those two seem likely headliners on how they tend to rotate bands.   Fontaines DC would be incredible but possibly a little too big now, Geese are having a good rise, would be great as a newer band to headline
    • Automated sessions and BOTs dont sleep.
    • I’ve secured tickets once since 2007. I’ve done 11 festivals in that time.  Thankfully I have friends with better luck!
