The last of our gang paid his balance yesterday, having been away in Hong Kong. So the Eavii were able to say "Now we've got Rod's money, we can afford to go ahead."

Excellent line up. Wilko's reception will really be something special.

Right, that's it! If I don't get a place on the litter picking team I've applied to, I'm climbing the fucking fence! 16 acts I'd be happy to see, 4 of which are must-sees. Not interested in either headliner but I'm always happy to be at Other, West Holts, Acoustic or Avalon. Keep your fingers crossed for me everyone!

I've made an itunes playlist of the bands announced that I actually own records by - 23 in total and that doesn't include bands who I like but don't have anything by (Metronomy, Chvrches, Royal Blood, Jagwar Ma, Foster the People, John Grant, Wolf Alice). Probably the best line-up I've seen on a personal level. Really looking forward to:

Arcade Fire

Pixies

Elbow

Parquet Courts

Mogwai

Interpol

De La Soul

Public Service Broadcasting

Jack White

Midlake

MGMT

Manics

Metallica (?)

Massive Attack

Jurassic 5

Temples

Phosphorescent

I'm not daft enough to think I'm going to get time to watch them all though - there's already TOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!

Another 1200 acts to be announced yes, but probably fair to say that most of the "big money" is on the sheet we can see today.

As for who's playing 2PM in the Tiny Tea Tent on Thursday, well.... that's a special guest yet to be confirmed ;)
