It looks worse as it goes on, but at least most agree it'll be dry when our tents go up which is important. It does look pretty dismal on the Monday when we take them down again though. I hope that doesn't lead to many people abandoning their stuff but it must be a factor.

Where are these reports from - just stating stuff is doom mongering

If it had been this weekend it would have probably been the perfect possible weather.

As it is - Met office predictions going down hill rapidly. First time they've used the words "heavy and thundery" in their outlook for next weekend.

So weather thread is in just about the same situation as the Friday Other Stage Opener thread, so much surprise held in store for us at G this year! I like it.

"Outbreaks of rain affecting many parts at first on Friday, easing later in the day. Otherwise, rather cloudy with showers developing, these becoming locally heavy and thundery, mainly across central parts"

that is not going down rapidly and locally in the southwest it could be mainly dry.

Goes on to say "the south and southeast should continue to see the best of the drier, brighter weather and consequently, the highest temperatures, rising above the seasonal average at times.
