TBC is eFestivals believing that band to be playing.

Many of the acts marked that have self-confirmed or been informally confirmed by 9say) the stage or area they're playing in.

And then there's some where we've had info passed to us in some manner, that we believe to be true because it's been tested in some way or other. We can get these wrong, tho it's rare that we do.

Thanks Kindly, and thanks for the top job you do on running efests :)

they're already confirmed anyway, so I suspect that's a second show for them.

Thats what I thought too

latest from a private source is Courteeners, playing the Other Stage on Friday.

hmm how low down would they be? they seem to get pretty sizeable slots a other fests, but i'd assumed the running order was The Vaccines > Rudimental > Deadmau5

4th down would be ok I think given they only subbed JP in 2013 when they were subbing the 2nd stages at T and V. Don't think they'd work as the secret opener.

Has Shangri La confirmed Slaves again? After deleting the last facebook post about them

Must mean they are playing double duty like Fat Whites if so

I'm hoping for Fats or Slaves for William green on the Thursday opening party

looks like i'll be avoiding the Other stage at all costs that day then!

Can you not just avoid it during the sets that you don't approve of? Do you have to boycott the whole day? :P

With the way its shaping up, I'd hope most people would be avoiding it all day like the plague!

No bad thing mind, its maybe the worst venue to go see anyone at Glastonbury during the day.

Yeah, but you know, on the other hand, ... growlers.

if those acts, in that order, are what the have in store for later on in the day then i dread to think that they've got for earlier. but i will be there (possibly) for the Other opener (unless the fact that it's Bastille leaks earlier that day). hoping for some better acts on Other for the other days (although tbh, the less time i have to spend there the better, so maybe not - just Chemical Brothers please)

    • Muse new album out soon , European tour announcement for Nov and Dec, no Spanish date and north American tour starts in July and in North America for all of July and August. So primavera and Glastonbury
    • Well he is on a rape charge, don't see that one as controversial.    Although Hakimi is in Morocco squad.
    • Electric Callboy just said they'll be touring here next year. I'm not sure there's a poster for it though. I'll look when I'm near some next.      He said we'll see you at Download at a gig before any of the band. Presumably he was trolling. They're in Austria at the moment and Germany tomorrow with a week's break and more shows in Germany. Whilst not impossible to come back here and then go over there again, it seems unlikely.
    • Thomas Partey, knocked back by Canadian immigration now.
    • I'm sure someone can update you on the clashfinder, and it will be pretty accurate by the time the festival comes around. It's a large flat-ish arena with main stage in the open air, no best side I'd say. Leadmill (3rd stage medium tent) is at the back of the main arena, T'Other (2nd stage big tent) 5 min walk round the corner. At full capacity walking around can take a bit more time though. I noticed that The Enemy are scheduled to not fully overlap with Wolf Alice, so you could catch part of their set too.   You can walk around anywhere with a beer, with most bars the usual mass market stuff, but one nice craft ale tent, back of the arena near the Leadmill stage. A main meal will set you back £10-15, but cheaper snacks also available. Expect a pint to be £7-8. Possibly a bit more this year as prices everywhere are increasing.   It's fairly easy to get to from the town centre using the tram, although can be busy at peak times / very busy at curfew. If you like a walk, it's approx 40 mins to Kelham Island (lots of indy venues) and probably an hour to the city, or catch an Uber. There will be loads of 'fringe' music events on around the city right through the weekend. Most are free. Have a wonderful trip, enjoy the festival, and your stay in our city!
