Rolling Stones or Fleetwood Mac ?

If you had to choose one for a headliner slot this year who would it be.

For me it would be Fleetwood Mac. Im a fan of both bands but have always liked Fleetwood Mac, love the songs and the history behind the band, and I also think they'd be more reliable to pull of a classic glasto headliner set as The Stones are a bit hit and miss.

For the occasion, and maybe even as their last ever tour, I'd go for The Stones.

Hard call. Both have got great bodies of work. How about as a compromise The Stones plus Fleetwoood Bac (excellent Mac tribute band) or Fleetwood Mac and Bill Wyman's Rhythmn Kings (superb band in their own right but at a sensible price).

Beverley Skeete, the singer with the Rhythmn Kings is magnificent and what a band line up. Well worth catching if you ever get the chance.

I haven't heard enough of them to form opinion. My mate is obsessed with Rumours by Fleetwood Mac though, apparently it's his favourite album of all time or something. He keeps on pestering me to check it out, so I probably will eventually I guess...

I'd go for the Stones if nothing else because of the cost of going to their own gigs. Even though I suspect they'd be shit.
