Got any gigs coming up?

James always are but always worth it. Think they were around forty quid all in. But that's in scummy Yorkshire. You could pay the equivalent in coal if you could find any.

Dunno why but never had you down as a jack white fan to be honest.

I think they might have touched £50 here. I really wish they'd play glastonbury this year, but accept there is no chance.

no I like jack white, I think I am one of the only other people than you that liked him this year! he was great in 2005 too ;)

Tickets still around, seem quite a few posters at Bank station strangely :P

ha they know where the audience is. Are you going? I suspect it will be the most white middle class gig the o2 has ever seen.

..Yep! I got my tickets in the Third Man Records vault presale and I went seated (cause I'm of the belief standing isn't worth it there anymore), so hoping that its fellow proper fans around me in theory if that whole block/few rows was given to TMR.

Man 'flu! Meant I passed on Joanne Shaw-Taylor and Bernie Marsden in Cardiff tonight - and I have to feel pretty bad to pass on a good gig, where I've already paid for the ticket.

Hopefully I'll feel better for Bryan Adams on Friday.

I am going to see James on Saturday and Beardyman on Sunday. It's just possible that you'll never hear from me again after that. If I even think about dancing they'll be re-percussions I'm sure. If I actually do start to dance then that'll be it. The thing is, what better way to go. Really looking forward to both events.

If any of you want to keep a book on this then I'd opt for the brain hemorrhage during James playing Sound.

James were £40 - £50 in Cambridge depending on standing or seated. Too much for me but heard it was great.

Goldfrapp (plus orchestra and choir) were on top form last night at the Albert Hall with the added bonus of John Grant coming on for a couple of songs which was awesome :)

Another great show from Jack White. Slightly shorter than the Leeds one though. Wish i was off to London tomorrow but i must return to work. Still, brilliant two nights watching my fave musician.

I thought he was great as well, setlist was really good bar the lack of Icky Thump. Broken Boy Soldier was probably the highlight for me, wasn't expecting it at all.

Kasabian tonight for me as well.

Jack White was great, better than he was at Glasto.

This completely caught me off guard, it was fantastic. Opening with Fell in love with a girl was absolute perfection too. Highlights were Freedom at 21, Broken Boy Soldier and Astro.

Couldn't say for definite, the encore was looooooong though (a good thing), I'm sure it was 7-8 songs! About 2 hours, something like that.

EDIT: Just seen a text I sent when we got back to the car, 2 hours looks about right.

Ah, did he play it in London as well? I was at Glasgow but yeah, wasn't expecting it at all so it came out of nowhere really.

The set times for Glasgow had him down for 2 hours as well but he only played for about 1 hour 40, went off early for some reason.

The encore was amazing! They seemed to turn the volume up during it to, felt like the loudest thing I've ever seen at the O2! Bloody amazing!

Top Yourself was splendid, been waiting to see that for a while since he released the recording of a rehearsal! Steady as she goes sounded sublime to! Really loved John the Revelator to! Apple Blossom, Astro :D and oh Just One Drink sounded great live ...Whole setlist was pretty good I think!

As I was sitting, no one stood until the encore really and I am sure if they had realised it was going be that long they would't have bothered

Was disappointed with the merch offerings, thought they would have had some TMR stuff :P, and saw on instagram after that they had guitar picks but didn't see them when I up to the stall :(
