But there must have been some years where they had the lineup available early but chose to delay...and other festivals must also choose to delay sometimes (and yes, even now!)!

They were the first to announce (in Europe) in this period when announcing the whole Line-up in January.

Releasing first or early just brings more ticket sales. Look at Rock En Seine who managed to already sell out the day that The Cure is playing.

With A Perfect Circle leaked for Tons of Rock I think we can rule out a NIN full band tour in Europe. Doubt Josh Freese can do both.
