Clashes 2025

Bob Vylan/Weezer/John Fogerty on Saturday. Not direct, but will have the leave the first 2 early. JF is priority there, which means missing Amyl, which is a shame.

Ash against Franz F and at TBA (pyramid) on Friday is bad, but so is getting back to Pyramid for Alanis for both.

Gary Numan up against Patchwork will be one to watch.

Rod Stewart against Turnstile is annoying. But saw Turnstile in John Peel in 2022, whilst they wee amazing, sure I will get to see them again, and never seen Rod.

Not too many direct clashes, more timings of getting form one to another will be tight.

Kneecap v Weezer v Jade is so annoying personally. I think I'll go Weezer because I'm more likely to see Kneecap elsewhere, but that would also knock off seeing Bob Vylan.

That's my thinking at the moment, I'm seeing Kneecap support Fontaines DC in the summer, though i do know it will be special show. Plus like you say Bob Vylan into Kneecap is a big two hours of music

Turnstile new material sounds really good. Woodsies was bouncing last time so I'm going to go and see the first 30 mins of Rod and then get around for the start of Turnstile as there won't be a massive crowd for them, even though they are probably the best band that has played in this slot.

St Vincent ending 5 mins before Future Islands start essentially means a choice has to be made. Think I prefer straight clashes to those hopeful cross overs that make you have to run around

So many clashes, but then my long list had 174 sets on it, so there were bound to be.

I think worse than clashes, are when  consecutive acts you'd like to see are at opposite ends of the site from each other. This time I refuse to make the mistake of knackering myself with endless walking back and forth, when there's usually something just as good going on in the vicinity of where I already am.

im already prepping my moans for watching Deftones and then fighting through the Charli XCX mob to try and get to Youngy - i can never decide which is the better route from Other to Pyramid, do i go left or right?

ah, Goat vs Snapped Ankles vs Turnstile, thats monstrous

Snapped Ankles are one of my worst clashes. 3:45 Sunday morning in Shangri La, clashing directly with me being very very asleep

I've generally found going left to be better - it's longer, but generally less crowded.  Brings me in at my favourite side of the pyramid stage.  Always found the side closest to San Remo has the better sound.

4 Saturday headliners.

CMAT and Fat Dog.

I think Amyl and Weezer were the same time as TVoTR. Sorry TVoTR but I saw you last time (2011ish)??

I've not looked in great detail though and will wait until the app is out to do my clashfinder.
