Are we 💯 sure that Ash are headlining on the Friday? I really, really hope so as they are my one locked in headliner (if they're in that slot) and one of my top 3-4 acts (bands) of the whole festival.

I'm just slightly concerned that Avalon is going to c*ck it up and out the Fratellis last on...

Love how Glasto is such a different experience for everyone!  General feeling on here is that Friday night is a bit of a wasteland, and yet for me this has the makings of being the best night yet in 4 festivals.

Alanis > Biffy > 1975 is an unbelievable run for me.  All acts that I would pay to go to see anyway and yet I am going to get to see them one after the other on the Pyramid!  Puts the ticket price right into context right there

Agree with all of this up until 1975 - Friday looks like a cracking run for me from Supergrass onwards. I'm toying with either Maribou State, or just walking and getting lost in the night. I cannot waaaaaait.

It would be a massive c*ck up, but something tells me it will be them instead of Ash 😕

If it is Ash, it'll be quite rammed... whether it'll be uncomfortably rammed to the extend that it'd put me off is yet to be seen.

This was my plan until Self Esteem was confirmed subbing the Park. So now I'm a bit split between booting it up to Woodsies afterwards for Four Tet or do the shorter walk to Ash and hope I can get in the tent.

Will probably end up deciding on the day.

I really wanted to see Self Esteem too, but alas, she has fallen to the rave.

Yeah - Friday is a 5 star day right up until headliners time when it absolutely falls to bits.

Yep. Biffy is my Friday “headliner”. Heard The 1975 are excellent live, but just can’t get into many of their tunes. Might hang around the Pyramid field for a bit and if it’s not grabbing me I’ll head over to Avalon or to see FBS at Lonely Hearts.

If you would like any evidence that this place isn't representative of the wider Glastonbury going demographic, this poll is it.

honestly not sure any longer ... efest has an  older average age  id imagine but so does Glastonbury in terms of festivals

If that’s the selection, it’s my least favourite headliner choice since the last time Biffy subbed. Back then I watched them, wandered up for the Arcadia show and caught the end of Justice.

Ash would be enjoyable for nostalgia value and a chance to experience a late night Avalon act, though wondering if Four Tet might be worth a gamble.

I’m hoping to do Self Esteem then Ash but I’ve no idea who’s on when.. will Alanis clash with either of those?!

I think there is a possibility Self Esteem might clash with Alanis, but Self Esteem may clash with Biffy Clyro instead... it depends who subs the pyramid.
