I did the same but I really enjoyed Frank carter and then The Killers so next year Iam looking forward to seeing Rod into Nile Rodgers... It's going to be great fun 👏👏👏

Had to turn back heading to the killers due to the congestion, but happy that we ended up at the pyramid. Looking forward to being there again!

Maybe 😭😭 2013 was such an amazing night at West Holts. They were good in 2017 but the atmosphere being their first time at the farm was electric.

I went with The Killers too but I had seen Nile a couple times already. No big loss. The show is great and its wall to wall bangers since it hardly ever changes which is a good thing if you have never seen Nile.

I think that was the issue, I didn’t actually get IN the tent. 
 

When you’re outside and can’t see a thing it always feels more like a group karaoke session!

That was a crazy night at the farm, while you were partying your pants off at WH, I was witnessing the greatest set I have ever seen at any festival ever. Portishead at the Other stage was truly mind blowing that night, incredibly intense, stunning visuals, sounded great, truly atmospheric. I would recommend anyone watching it on youtube if they missed it

 

2013 was a mad year at the farm, I cant remember much about it apart from three of the greatest sets I have seen there. Portishead, the Stones and Nick Cave on the Pyramid. All time classics

That was one of the worst clashes I’ve ever had. Portishead looked amazing on the TV. 
 

Im similar with 2013 I don’t remember much apart from Chic and The Stones. Think it was the first time I saw Hobo Jones. I still have the schedule of who I saw but I remember very little.

Duran Duran if you're going to get one of them. I really want to see TFF there, but I think either as an Acoustic headliner or in that early afternoon slots a la Crowded House.  As big as some of the singalongs could be and as great as they are, they're also not the most cheerful of songs 😂

That’s a fair shout. I just wonder how low down they’d be willing to play, I’ve always thought they rate themselves pretty highly 😂

 

Plus maybe my deep love of Head over Heels makes me think they’re slightly more popular than they are.

Yeah, maybe not TFF in that sort of slot, much as I love them I dont think they have really have catchy singalongs like Duran Duran have, they probably need a different slot as the atmosphere might get a bit flat after a few songs. I caught them at the Radio 2 in the Park in Leicester and thought they were superb. They only spoilt it a bit by playing 3 or 4 slower new songs on the bounce, which I think turned quite a few people off. I loved it though, Roland's voice still sounds ace

They do have some absolute bangers, just not the sort which will get a Sunday afternoon boogie/singalong going (Shout, Head over heels, Seeds of Love, Mad World, Women in Chains, Pail Shelter, Everybody want to rule the world...)

Duran Duran would be a hoot, though I don't think they're a very Glastonbury band and have never considered it very likely. But given that they often come as a package with Nile Rodgers & Chic, who have self-confirmed, and are playing with them twice in the week after Glastonbury, a small window of opportunity seems to have opened. The conditions that Simon Le Bon suggested when asked about the prospect a year ago would all be met if they were offered the slot following NR&C.

Done the same was not feeling the Stones in the spot I was in so legged it to Public Enemy, so glad I did
