You could say that about a lot of “legacy” headliners at most festivals all over the world.

Also saw them at Madcool a few years ago (hadn’t seen them for years) and they still put on a brilliant show, would probably watch them (depending on what else was on at the time).

I reckon it’ll be a big challenge to fill the gap at this point with a truly A-lister act. Other stage headliners bumped up or someone already quite well known to the festival I’d say.

They do certainly have the benefit of this happening in a year where it looks like they’ve nabbed a strong set of subs.

 

Alternatively I’ve just checked Robbie’s dates again and he remains available on the Friday and Sunday. Seems like a very obvious solution.

Now Young is out, I can see Charli XCX getting bumped to headline the Pyramid if she's already on the radar. People might not like it but she's the biggest artist in the world at the moment and could easily be justified to top the bill.

 

Then they'd (if everyone's predictions are right) need an Other Stage headliner, which is much easier to fill. Maybe Noah Kahan or Paramore?
