I think I might be reaching as the fonts don't quite perfectly sync up, but maybe I was just clued in enough to see it.

Apparently the buzz on the Lytham thread is that this is for Kings of Leon.

 

So yeah. AC/DC was perhaps far too ambitious a suggestion lol

They can't play Wembley on 3rd July 2025, as Lana Del Rey already is.

Yeah Kings of Leon are doing it as per this morning's announcement. Which tbf was always the more logical idea.

Last time Glastonbury tried to book them they were “insulted” with the “low” financial offer.

 

First few albums brilliant but they really fell off and expect the world. Had to cancel loads of their tour last year because they over estimated their popularity.

They weren't exactly subtle about saying that either. So, yeah, they're not coming back, plus it looks like they're playing the mainland over Glastonbury weekend anyway.

As well as this, they're doing a show on Sunday June 29 in Cardiff.

 

This could put them into contention to do something at Glastonbury imo.

Saw the Black Keys when they sub headlined in 2014 this is an absolute solid setlist. But yeah this was probably there peak - not at this level anymore - and kicking of about Glasto pay the other year will not have helped there case probably not see them again on the farm.

I’ve been away on holiday for a few days and this place has gone mad. I’d absolutely love to see the Neiler there but a headliner in 2025? As brilliant as he was (and I know Michael Eavis loves him), in crowd terms he was barely a headliner back in 2009.
