That GFL have really tried to reinvent Silver Hayes after years of it feeling like not much more than a cut through from JPT to the rest of the festival is something that should be celebrated. Can't wait for my two nights there this year. I've never really had a night there!

from all those glastonbuget posts we get something incredible coming out of silver hayes . big up the festival for reinventing something in times of financial hardship for individuals and business

Looks incredible. The line up is amazing for it this year too

Did there used to be a stage up that way that looked very similar?

I pretty much avoid that whole corner of the festival unless going from park/other to John peel

Spent most of last night there.

1/2 of Camelphat, all Eli Brown & all of Fatboy Slim.

Brilliant venue.

Camelphat was pretty quiet really. People all stood around the entrance, once you were in there was loads of room.

Was very Busy for FBS, but still room to move.

It looks bloody amazing from the hill on the other side too. Really stands out when it’s all lit up.

Aye we were up the Park hill Thursday night and hadn’t been through Silver Hayes so it was quite striking how noticeable the Levels was from there.

They’ve done a really good job with SH, very impressive

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
