Looks like there's some fantastic bars, love how they've been styled and designed with considerable effort.

San Remo and Avalon Inn look quality, as a Glasto virgin looking forward to heading there.

What are your favourites?

IMO Trickets is one of the best pubs on the planet.

Perhaps controversial, but I’m not fond of either San Remo (old Beat Hotel) or Brothers. I prefer nearby options to both. (Mandela or Tolpuddle to San Remo, and West Holts to Brothers).

Another vote for Bread and Roses, perfect for an afternoon chillout, although I probably buy most drinks from the cider bus or West Holts bar

Yes Avalon, Tow and Hitch and the treehouse type thing above the park.

Avalon Inn every time, as it has an upstrairs 🙂 which is somehow magical at glastonbury, no idea why, it just is 🙂

I’m terrible with names but the real ale bar by the acoustic tent is great for a slow start on the Thursday and as everyone has said Avalon, it always seems mad to me they build a proper pub in a festival

I went to Benidorm for the first time ever on a stag-do just before last years festival ....I would agree with this 100%!

Yes, it’s great there are so many to choose from, because this reminds me that I really don’t need to go there. I never liked it as Beat Hotel and don’t think I have been in/around it as San Remo, maybe to grab a pint while passing.

Love Avalon, Cockmills, Bread and Roses. Ridge and Furrow.

Going to try Tricketts (always seems to be a Q) and Tap House this year.

But, the best pub is The Bimble Inn!!

Theatre and Circus used to be right up there on the list of "great bars" as it used to serve Grimbergen at the same price (I think) as the usual festival piss water. That was great - grab a pint and chill in the astrolabe for a bit. 

Cockmills usually a good shout if you like a mix of cask ales.

do any of them do a nice IPA of a decent strength (around 5%)?  I struggled to find anything in the bars that weren't 4% or lower.

No, the beer offerings at the festival are abysmal.

I know it doesn't have the structure or seating of some of the other bars mentioned but I can't see how you can beat Brothers on a Wednesday afternoon/evening

The Cornish Arms and the bar by Acoustic have had Proper Job in the past, great beer and around 5%.
