I went to FBS in 2019, we went half an hour before it started and got in fine but mates tried to meet us after it started and gave up, it was v busy (but that was the old glade setup)

I’m 6’4 so need to sleep slightly diagonally on the thing to fit thanks

Still after a light double airbed if anyone has a suggestion, am very wary of self inflating as just can’t see how it would be think enough and happy to pump it up but my one is so heavy and it takes up half my bag. Needs to be a double I don’t want to buy 2 and attach them

I’d second this South Park one and two always have space but you are a distance from anything

This is very much not for me but a general question I always wonder when I see the state of the audience right by decks if they know they are being filmed and if so why on earth they would want to be, I know this is probably showing my age but if I go to dance I want to just that I don’t want phones or photos of me showing the state I’m in

Only the 3 man but I love this tent, easily big enough for me and my wife with double air bed and the bags small porch for wellies (not that we will need it again!) and so so easy up and down. I hope it is, I love that album and am quite fond of the next one as well but really struggle with anything after that, I was a bit bored the last time I saw them live as just not interested in the newer stuff. I’d go to Crystal Palace as very near me but it’s too soon after the festival and I can’t get away with another day/night out

I would say it’s your 40s they will start to appear, I’m 43 and this is the most acts I’ve ever had an interest in seeing

Getting excited today as the sun is out in London. On the 5.30 coach from Victoria with 2 mates and then other 3 making their own way there from various parts of the country. If it all goes as well as last year with the exact same arrangement I hope tent is up and beer is in hand before midday, then once we have all stopped sweating from the walk/setup it’s up to the sign for an hour or two then who knows

Their official line is no but it seems to be if the ticket is not collected on the coach they hand it into the box office for collection. I don’t think I’d be brave enough to risk it unless I actually couldn’t make the coach and wouldn’t be going otherwise

It’s official I’m getting old as that is the most bands I’ve ever had an interest in seeing on the acoustic. Will probably only actually see Stornaway as their set there in 2015 (I think) was fantastic but wouldn’t be surprised if my group consider OCS on the Saturday- although acoustic into SEC would be a novelty

I’m sure at the festival in 2019 there was a brew bar which had craft beer on (mainstream stuff but something) we went back the next festival and they were just selling same old beers. Really disappointing. saying all this I thought Brooklyn was such an improvement last year that I’m not going to moan about anything beer wise and fizzy pale ale as much as I like it gives me the worst hangovers

Ha you might be right. I do think there has been a small shift since my first one in 2013 over the years but I have nothing against it, if you get a ticket do Glastonbury however you like.

I think she could (I don’t think she will be) but I’d imagine there is a lot less enthusiasm for her at lunchtime than headlining, I’d probably go to a headline set if nothing else I fancied and dance no way I can be bothered at 12 with a massive hangover

I think there has been a massive shift that older/novelty (I know someone is going to disagree with this categorisation) have become far more popular over the years probably with a slight shift in the demographic of people going as so many people want the one off Glastonbury experience, so I do think it will be rammed, I thankfully will be nowhere near

I actually think pyramid might be more likely but would you not count JP and Park as a big stage assuming we are ruling out WH given it’s basically announced with that playlist

it’s great marketing anyway and it’s not like anyone is ever going to know if it is or not. I also don’t think the lineup has made way more people than normal put their tickets back it will just be the same as normal so actually maybe it is true but it’s always about the same number

It really was great, I’d highly recommend for anyone who can to go and see this tour. Always slightly wondered if I enjoyed that Glastonbury set so much in 16 as I was in such a ‘happy’ state but last night I just had a few beers and danced for over 3 hours.
