VCK
I would never in a million years have predicted Glory Days to be their setlist closer, I don't think they've even played it since 1998, but I absolutely love This Is Hardcore so the more songs from that album on the setlist, the better! efcfanwirral
Warrington was good! I think they were incredible but I got a bit carried away with the beers around the football (wrong priorities!!) So might give Castlefield a go - I think it'll be a better overall atmosphere there too as only really the singles got much crowd interaction
Rachie
Had a fantastic time at Warrington yesterday- the weather was perfect and Pulp were incredible! They seem so full of energy. And the crowed seemed to suck it up - up there with one of the best times I’ve seen them live. I’ve got Sheffield tickets too but so so want them to be at Glasto. (I was meant to be having a glasto-break this year but soon as the Pulp reunion tour came out I got tickets purely because I was convinced they’d be there!) MEGATRONICMEATWAGON
If Pulp are going to show up as a TBA under Arctics and Royal Blood are third down, that is one hellishly unfair clash. Fred vs Young Fathers vs Pulp. They're all on a list of must sees. I can just about accept missing YF for Fred, but missing Pulp, or potentially now missing Fred for Pulp... Oh man oh man oh man. Xeph1995
Pulp into AM is a vibe, Royal Blood info AM is not. I'm really hoping they show up. Edited May 29, 2023 by Xeph1995

I'm going for them being 4th down Saturday in an extended set length. 3rd down Friday caused issues, 4th down Friday is an indie/rock slot however does not. Derby_Dave
Can we stop this? The more I think about it the more I want them to be there. I’ve seen Pulp loads throughout the early 90’s stood talking to Jarvis once at Phoenix festival I believe. The thing is the last time I ever saw them was their Pyramid headline set in ‘95. Please let them be In and not clashing without a horrid clash.

FuzzyDunlop
I was there on Sunday at Neighbourhood. The band were tight. Jarvis was his usual coolest geek on the planet self. Ended on Common People. I think as a festival closer it doesn't get any better.. No Mis-shapes. No Razzmatazz. Both would have pleased me. The sound quality at the venue was bobbins. Great to see them. Saw them on the Park in 2011 and I would be all over seeing them again on the Farm.

If Pulp aren't included in the clash-off, it would be higher for YF, but I've listened to Fred so much more in the last months, it just kind of snowballed. I'm open to a change of mind if Fred looks like it's gonna be a hideously packed field which it might be. Prob 70-30 in Fred's favour at the moment vs YF. MEGATRONICMEATWAGON
Surely, the Churnups... You churn something up into a Pulp, right? AMIRIIIIIIIIIIGHT Can't find anything else on them otherwise other than ice cream or smoothies.
09matthewsw
It’s definitely them. I wonder if they’re planning to keep the ambiguity going right up until the day? They wouldn’t be toying with us like this if it was anyone else. Either way I’m made up!
