Who's Playing Where ?

Candi Staton early-ish Pyramid.

Rudimental are a tough one as they could easily play a few of the main stages… mid Pyramid, mid/high Other or, I’m fearing, headlining West Holts.

Was thinking along the same lines actually. Rudimental are a toughie indeed. They headlined the other in 2015 after 4th down El Pointo in 2014. Haven't played since afaik and doubt they're considered bigger now. Closing WH wouldn't look out of place I think. They need the dark too. Too big for JP?

Where do we think Manics will play? I’ve seen a few line up guesses putting them as headlining Park on Friday, but do we have anything concrete on this (day or stage)?

Arctics & Manics conflicting would be brutal considering they’re my 2 faves on the poster thus far

You might be right...but where are people thinking WoD will play?

They have dates elsewhere so are playing on Sunday - but thinking about it, they could be in all sorts of slots.  Third down on Pyramid, Other sub or third, Park headline, JP headline or sub - loads of possibilities!

I’ve used this in the past, easier than Wikipedia for Glastonbury research

Thanks for sharing. I thought I'd challenge it, see how far they've got. First (small) band, played Glastonbury 2 years, not recorded. Second (big) band, they've got the stage wrong! I may see if I can be a contributor....

Yes, it’s still pretty incomplete, but like Wikipedia, the more people contribute, the better a resource it will become.

    • Sam Fender, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter is a very bland set of headliners. Commercially successful and makes plenty of sense, but it wouldn't be very inspirising. That said I want a band like Green Day to headline so who am I to say what exciting is.
    • Potentially rogue shout here but could see Rebecca Black in the running for a mid-afternoon spot. I know most people still remember her for Friday but lately she’s been putting out a lot of fun pop bangers, think this could be a very fun booking!
    • FFS why when there are pull outs does it always include so many of the names I had as must sees!
    • This is a pretty petulant stance.   I oppose him headlining because I love coming to Slam Dunk and he would be a very big reason why I wouldn't come. That doesn't mean they can't choose to do so, they obviously can, I would just stop coming to that version of Slam Dunk.   Another name that I'll throw out there as name I'd love is Biffy Clyro.
    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
