Going for a coach/ticket package in a few months - anyone know the % of people that get Wed vs. Thursday (no Friday I assume). Would prefer Wed obviously….any cities that is more likely from, tips/tricks, etc.? Thanks in advance!!

This, 100% - I’d have no acts on Wed. / use for exploring site then Thursday go full scale….Thursday is an odd half-measure at this point that ends in disappointment for most if there is something actually worth seeing. Re-work the license & get the main stages going….toothpaste is kind of out of the tube at this point….locals aren’t going to be 1% more hassled if….the Park Stage has live acts on Thursday.

Back at camp for the day, was inside since about 11. Baggy Mondays at Stonebridge absolutely rammed, not sure why you literally can’t just play the tunes through speakers at The Park & let people breathe/dance. Tom A. Smith at Strummerville was great, lad is fantastic, they had folks stand up rather than sit to create more room, good move. In general getting from one place to another is a giant pain in the ass, definitely picking our 3/4 acts per day and hanging at bars during downtime over the weekend, or camped in front of stage waiting for our act with cold drink in hand. Exploring/seeing where day takes you….way too rammed to do that in my opinion. I’m also 47 not 27 so get it that folks have different thresholds.

1st timer…how is the selection of band t-shirts, etc? For a band like Young Fathers for example (hoping for a shirt for my daughter) - what is the variety, availability, where set up, etc? Thanks in advance & hope you all have a great festival!

Saw Ryan Adams & The Cardinals in Raleigh, NC a few weeks ago. Terrible show unfortunately, I’m not a ‘jam band’ guy and that was the deal here…stretching songs to 10 minutes apiece….very Cold Roses heavy….should have caught him on the solo acoustic tour would have been more my cup of tea.

For me, admittedly a ‘bucket hat/dark fruits’ stereotype, an alarming lack of indie guitar bands on lineup but hopeful for adds. Give me a few of Pulp, Ashcroft, Black Keys, DMAs, Liam, Vaccines, Johnny Marr, Courteeners, etc to go along with Arctics & Manics and will be set. First Glasto, from America and who knows when next time will be so looking forward to the next poster drop!

Coming from the US, listing acts that are unlikely to ever come near my neck of the woods (very short tours here, just in the big cities normally): *Kasabian *Jamie T *Pulp *Courteeners *DMA’s *Bonus would be Doves or Cast or Embrace….not sure how active they are these days Yes….easy to tell my musical taste is ridiculously narrow but what can I say, fist in the air anthemic British indie is my thing!

What is consensus thinking on The 1975? Gap in their schedule & they’ll be active. Headlining Other versus Elton maybe? Subbing seems small for them at this point.
