They were booked to headline JP in 2020 so I don't see why it wouldn't be true this time.

There's a good chance it will happen but if it was announced last night from the stage in Bristol, I'm sure more than one person would be shouting about it.

This was me. A man next to me in the front row shouted “Glastonbury” towards the beginning of the set and Tom said “Sunday John Peel, be there.”

My “stupid name” was a lyric from an Editors single.

I’ve been a lurker on this site for years and signed up to post some Glastonbury info as it’s the first time I’ve had any. I guess I’ll not bother next time lol.

Their tour details seems a bit thin at the moment - festival in holland the week before; maybe it was announced on a stage last night; and they were supposed to play 2020.  All seems very hopeful for an appearance, if it's headlining JP on the Sunday, as per the first post, who'd be at Editors over Elton?

Fair enough but this site is plagued by trolls (often names in all caps) posting bullshit rumours and other stuff in the evenings. Given the post was removed, I assumed the IP address had been matched to previous efforts.

No it was removed by me because of the username I’ve no access to IPs so couldn’t check … apologies to poster … the ref to song title went over my head unfortunately. And unfortunately I’ll make the odd mistake that I’m happy to put my hands up to if I do

Would be good to know if it’s true though. Was anyone else there that can confirm? Could easily be missed I guess, but maybe someone else heard.

Ah man, would love to see them but gf would get proper upset if we didn't close the weekend together and I know she wants to see Elton. Literally two bands with stage times confirmed and there's already a clash, love it.

Can't think of a more dour way to end Glasto if they're Sunday - and I'm someone who'd miss Elton for Massive Attack.
