Probably EJ purely because it's the Sunday.

Already caught him last summer so less bothered about Glasto, BUT it being the final big show? It'll probably be a group gathering for us, also it'd be too tempting not to dip into the "goodie bag" for Fred but I'd rather not pack up and travel Monday morning with any sort of hangover...

Fred vs. AM or GNR, Fred wins handily.

At this point I have no idea.

I've seen Elton before and had a good time.  His voice may not be what it was but with everyone singing along, it won't matter.  Plus it's his last UK gig so you'd assume there'd be something special.

However, you may have noticed that I'm a little bit hyped about FA and it is the set that I'm most excited about.

It'll all come down to how I'm feeling on Sunday.  If I've hit it too hard on the saturday, I'll be at Elton.  If I've got some fuel in the tank then FA will probably win out.

My hope is that FA is a big Elton fan and will refuse to headline against him as he would want to see that set as well.

Interesting poll

Would you say efest members are a fair representation of the "average" Glastonbury punter*?

*expects the "there is no such thing as an average punter" reponse

it's getting more ridiculous each time i refresh the page

Yes. I'm confident the crowd for Elton would be much bigger, as our poll indicates for efest members so far.

Probably less into dance music vs overall attendees? Made this poll on a bit of a whim after reading the talk in thread again but now feel a bit silly!

You’ll never get a chance to see Elton on the greatest stage in the world ever again.

If Fred Again is the messiah that everyone seems to think he is then you’ll get to see him as many times as you want for years to come, both at Glastonbury and elsewhere. His show at Glastonbury won’t be anything better or different to the other shows he’ll be doing this summer, whereas Elton on the Pyramid cannot be replicated.

When Elton is dead and Fred is the new disclosure, who will you regret having missed?

Possibly i should have compared fred to each headliner rather than just elton, to point towards him only being suitable against elton john

For me he's beating every one of the currently presumed headliners by some distance.

That applies if you have any interest in Elton at all.

I love how we have a thread for this when it's not even confirmed that 1. Fred will play (but let's be honest, he will) and 2. that he will be clashing with Reg.

It's only an interesting question because we already know that tons of people here will pick Fred over AM and GNR, EJ is the real measuring stick.

I think Fred will be against GNR but tbh I could see myself going for a bit of Elton then leaving to Fred.

Can’t really say I’m a gigantic fan of Fred, but he’s clearly an act on to gigantic things. Might as well see him now.
