There are lots outside the fence where people queue and for security to use.

Suspect quite a few inside for disabled access too. Maybe in VIP areas too?

EDIT: In fact I remember quite a few being in the late night areas too by certain smaller venues?

Nearly all of the public facing toilets inside the fence are either Long/High Drops, owned and assembled by the Festival / Worthy Farm, or Compost Toilets. The two suppliers of Compost Toilets used are Natural Event and Compoost Solutions - there may be others but those are the ones I know of.

There really isn't thousands of Portaloos anymore, and hasn't been for several years. The ones that do exist still are more utilised in lower volume situations. As CalGo mentioned this tends to be more outside the fence - at this point I think the only ones inside the fence are either the ones designed for accessible use or odd units in staff areas where it doesn't make sense to have a larger scale setup. Can't honestly say I've noticed which "brand" they use these days though.

Didn't know those existed but maybe a good psychological trick to push people to keep things decently clean!

I came across one somewhere round Williams Green- The Pyramid at one stage a few years ago. It was on its own so maybe it was a novelty. Had a fairly small queue (I’d say due to people not fancying it), and it was spotless. It’s really weird sitting on the throne and being able to see everything going on on the other side of the door.

I do have visions of maybe a slightly drunk you stepping out and saying "that is weird with the mirror " then someone replying "no mirror mate, you didn't shut the door"

As funny as all that is you get a good look at the mirror when you’re first in queue so you can be sure if its working as designed!

the real fun would be if it were one of those fancy ones with the switch that can be turned transparent!
