was told by a reliable source that The Murder Capital will be playing.  They are planning on spending the whole weekend, so an opportunity for multiple sets

I would love this to be true but I think you're confusing me with somebody who knows stuff.

Totally unrelated question to the thread topic, I didn’t know where to ask this question.

Anyone know what happened to the wealth of Glastonbury content on BBC iplayer that disappeared last year?

They’ve had loads of content on there for years now it’s all gone and I can’t find it anywhere.

It only stays on iplayer for a few weeks after the festival, then they generally resuscitate some it around the next festival or only the odd set here or there. ‘20 and ‘21 had more than normal as lockdown treats for us

each band negotiates it's own contract with the bbc, which is likely to include how available  the footage should be, - if a band intends to release a live dvd they won't want competing footage readily available, also the bbc has to pay prs fees for the use of the songs for each time the footage is played, and cos there can be a lot of plays for a popular act, this can cost a lot.

its unlikely a band or the bbc would want eternal availability.

Saw TMC on Saturday (amazing, btw...) and asked if they are playing.  The official response was "ummmm....no comment" but yeah, I'd be shocked if they are not there.
