yeah thats a lot!

San Francisco is not a cheap place. But you can get resale for a decent price usually. The one thing thats a shame is that they removed the comedy tent they had for years. So you really had a wide variety of things to do there along with the Gastro Magic stage which was celebrity chefs collabing with musicians and doing like a live performance and a cooking demo along with some randomness thrown in there. So if you were looking for a glasto ish vibe of a fest, OSL was it. Even the weather was similar. Usually overcast and cool.

But really. Lets get ravey

The part in the Article the other day where Emily says Elton jeeps getting in contact with ideas makes me excited

Agreed. Shows he's not just phoning it in.  Though what his ideas could be beyond bringing along Kiki Dee or Dua Lipa I dunno.

Sadly I doubt it's going to be handing out meerkat costumes all weekend in the run up.

said before but i reckon the pyramid topper will be a rocket this time or a joe rush version maybe with boosters ... and the fireworks are gonna be epic ....  a laser show would be kind of cool too

Or they bring her skeleton out on wires and make it dance around a bit.

😆

Getting Ana De Arnas out to swish around as Marilyn would be a bit of a curveball

    • i never got my EUR 15 back from Wet Leg - anyone else? Not the worst thing to have happened this occurrence like but another small thing that I thought was a bit poor.
    • Stonewall IPA for sure last year and another Brooklyn one I think (at least in one of the bars) - Defender maybe. Shame the craft beer van wasn't there last year but the options are much better than they used to be.
    • First outdoor gig of the season for me last night. David Byrne in a soaking wet St Anne’s Park. Absolutely spectacular (didn’t expect anything less to be fair!). If you get a chance to catch him on this tour, don’t hesitate. At least half the set were Talking Heads classics. Marvellous all round (ok, I’ll let him away with the song about how much he loves his apartment😁).  IMG_1177.dng
