They've also mentioned GnR in the past few weeks and Arctics in both their own article and the Rihanna article.

And Elton, in the GnR article.

They've literally already named 5 headliners as "in talks" or stronger for the 2023 festival - if they bite on Harry Styles, that'll make 6.

Would love Queens of the Stone Age to take the helm next year, with Dave Grohl could be an epic headliner slot! Anyone know what their status is these days?

you are in luck.

They are announced for European festivals either side of Glastonbury and were due to play this year but pulled out. They are very likely

not as pyramid headliners though, either other stage headliners or possibly subbing pyramid if guns n roses are playing

I thought that’s what the libertines did too? Or have they dropped off a lot since they had their comeback

They headline like 5k fests now, dropped off a ton from that point. Overtouring i think

Has more info cropped up over the weekend? Or is this based off what we already know?

Not really, but I pointed out that Harry’s odds are shortening. He’s gone above Rihanna now.

Doesn’t necessarily mean anything but it would suggest an increase in bets.

BETTING ODDS ARE BASED ON THE MONEY WAGERED, AND NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY INFO.

Do people not put money on because they have, or at least think they have, information?

yo can see here how people convince themselves that their guesses is 'info'.

Oh yeah people definitely put money on guesses. I put a tenner on Swift myself after it became clear she was touring and I figured Emily would want her back. Turned out to be bogus.

There are people out there who think they hear something and rush out to lump on. That rush in GnR betting is a perfect example.

    • I read a reliable source saying there's not enough time to stress test and have worked through any major financial decisions between now and then.   So guarantees this budget will just be tinkering at the edges only.
    • Thanks @sisco. Looking forward to it!
    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
