A bit of of guilty pleasure of mine, I saw them in about 2007 for the Architecture & Morality Classic Album Tour and thought they were brilliant. Anyway does anyone think they will do Glastonbury ?

only festivals they tend to do are retrofests.

Glasto don't seem to do 80s retro, a real shame in my opinion, not too sure why. It would be brilliant to have the likes of OMD, Numan, Foxx, Human League, etc. They would all go down an absolute storm at the farm. Some of these sound as good as they did 40 years ago especially OMD, a brilliant live band still going strong these days

Saw them at Electric Picnic about 10 years ago (can't remember exactly), they were great (EP was always good at having a retro 80s act each year, pretty much everyone that gets mentioned on here from that era played at some point...was definitely a great addition to the festival).

Could see them in an early Other slot like The Pretenders the other year. 

Good band, I saw them in 2017 in Manchester and they were great.

Another +1 for OMD.   My first ever gig - Belfast way back in 1991 - great memories 😁

They seem to be still going strong - get them booked!

Went to see them in Madrid 2019, they were sold out in UK, tickets were cheap there and I hadn't been. 

They put on a cracking show, there was the novelty of going to venues where the locals don't drink much, so you can stroll to the bar and get immediately served and a beautiful city too.

I'd love that. Nothing to do with easy access to the bar, I don't drink. Just a better atmosphere.

Plenty of places there with delicious grub at great prices too, given what came after 2019 was glad of any nice trips I'd had previously.

i never have to go to the bar anymore. i'm not a lot of good at the bar with just one working arm & hand to carry drinks with. Doing the money is very awkward with one hand.

/off to the pub shortly with my beer buddy @Topaz.as usual, i'll just have to sit there and drinks will appear while my wallet gets lighter.

The other aspect does sound like a pain though.  My mum has issues with one arm and she does occasionally mention the pain and inconvenience it causes her 👵

They’re a brilliant band. I still play their music regularly and they deserve to be at Glastonbury, but I’m not holding my breath!
